RustCrypto CMOV provides conditional move CPU intrinsics which are guaranteed on major platforms to execute in constant-time and not be rewritten as branches by the compiler. From 0.1.1 until 0.5.4, the aarch64 implementations of Cmov and CmovEq in cmov/src/backends/aarch64.rs assume high bits are zero-extended when loading values smaller than a register, so set high bits such as [8..] in a Cmov selector or [16..] of self or other in the u16 and i16 CmovEq implementations can cause left.cmovz(&right, condition) to produce incorrect output. This issue is fixed in version 0.5.4.

CVE-2026-40253
openCryptoki is a PKCS#11 library and provides tooling for Linux and AIX.

openCryptoki is a PKCS#11 library and provides tooling for Linux and AIX. In versions 3.26.0 and below, the BER/DER decoding functions in the shared common library (asn1.c) accept a raw pointer but no buffer length parameter, and trust attacker-controlled BER length fields without validating them against actual buffer boundaries. All primitive decoders are affected: ber_decode_INTEGER, ber_decode_SEQUENCE, ber_decode_OCTET_STRING, ber_decode_BIT_STRING, and ber_decode_CHOICE. Additionally, ber_decode_INTEGER can produce integer underflows when the encoded length is zero. An attacker supplying a malformed BER-encoded cryptographic object through PKCS#11 operations such as C_CreateObject or C_UnwrapKey, token loading from disk, or remote backend communication can trigger out-of-bounds reads. This affects all token backends (Soft, ICA, CCA, TPM, EP11, ICSF) since the vulnerable code is in the shared common library. A patch is available thorugh commit ed378f463ef73364c89feb0fc923f4dc867332a3.

CVE-2026-33472
Cryptomator is an open-source client-side encryption application for cloud storage.

Cryptomator is an open-source client-side encryption application for cloud storage. Version 1.19.1 contains a logic flaw in CheckHostTrustController.getAuthority() that allows an attacker to bypass the security fix for CVE-2026-32303. The method hardcodes the URI scheme based on port number, causing HTTPS URLs with port 80 to produce the same authority string as HTTP URLs, which defeats both the consistency check and the HTTP block validation. An attacker with write access to a cloud-synced vault.cryptomator file can craft a Hub configuration where apiBaseUrl and authEndpoint use HTTPS with port 80 to pass auto-trust validation, while tokenEndpoint uses plaintext HTTP. The vault is auto-trusted without user prompt, and a network-positioned attacker can intercept the OAuth token exchange to access the Cryptomator Hub API as the victim. This issue has been fixed in version 1.19.2.

The leancrypto library is a cryptographic library that exclusively contains only PQC-resistant cryptographic algorithms.

The leancrypto library is a cryptographic library that exclusively contains only PQC-resistant cryptographic algorithms. Prior to version 1.7.1, lc_x509_extract_name_segment() casts size_t vlen to uint8_t when storing the Common Name (CN) length. An attacker who crafts a certificate with CN = victim's CN + 256 bytes padding gets cn_size = (uint8_t)(256 + N) = N, where N is the victim's CN length. The first N bytes of the attacker's CN are the victim's identity. After parsing, the attacker's certificate has an identical CN to the victim's — enabling identity impersonation in PKCS#7 verification, certificate chain matching, and code signing. This issue has been patched in version 1.7.1.

cryptography is a package designed to expose cryptographic primitives and recipes to Python developers.

cryptography is a package designed to expose cryptographic primitives and recipes to Python developers. Prior to version 46.0.6, DNS name constraints were only validated against SANs within child certificates, and not the "peer name" presented during each validation. Consequently, cryptography would allow a peer named bar.example.com to validate against a wildcard leaf certificate for *.example.com, even if the leaf's parent certificate (or upwards) contained an excluded subtree constraint for bar.example.com. This issue has been patched in version 46.0.6.

Cryptomator encrypts data being stored on cloud infrastructure.

Cryptomator encrypts data being stored on cloud infrastructure. Prior to version 1.19.1, the Hub-based unlock flow explicitly supports hub+http and consumes Hub endpoints from vault metadata without enforcing HTTPS. As a result, a vault configuration can drive OAuth and key-loading traffic over plaintext HTTP or other insecure endpoint combinations. An active network attacker can tamper with or observe this traffic. Even when the vault key is encrypted for the device, bearer tokens and endpoint-level trust decisions are still exposed to downgrade and interception. This issue has been patched in version 1.19.1.

CVE-2026-26007
cryptography is a package designed to expose cryptographic primitives and recipes to Python developers.

cryptography is a package designed to expose cryptographic primitives and recipes to Python developers. Prior to 46.0.5, the public_key_from_numbers (or EllipticCurvePublicNumbers.public_key()), EllipticCurvePublicNumbers.public_key(), load_der_public_key() and load_pem_public_key() functions do not verify that the point belongs to the expected prime-order subgroup of the curve. This missing validation allows an attacker to provide a public key point P from a small-order subgroup. This can lead to security issues in various situations, such as the most commonly used signature verification (ECDSA) and shared key negotiation (ECDH). When the victim computes the shared secret as S = [victim_private_key]P via ECDH, this leaks information about victim_private_key mod (small_subgroup_order). For curves with cofactor > 1, this reveals the least significant bits of the private key. When these weak public keys are used in ECDSA , it's easy to forge signatures on the small subgroup. Only SECT curves are impacted by this. This vulnerability is fixed in 46.0.5.

openCryptoki is a PKCS#11 library and provides tooling for Linux and AIX.

openCryptoki is a PKCS#11 library and provides tooling for Linux and AIX. Versions 2.3.2 and above are vulnerable to symlink-following when running in privileged contexts. A token-group user can redirect file operations to arbitrary filesystem targets by planting symlinks in group-writable token directories, resulting in privilege escalation or data exposure. Token and lock directories are 0770 (group-writable for token users), so any token-group member can plant files and symlinks inside them. When run as root, the base code handling token directory file access, as well as several openCryptoki tools used for administrative purposes, may reset ownership or permissions on existing files inside the token directories. An attacker with token-group membership can exploit the system when an administrator runs a PKCS#11 application or administrative tool that performs chown on files inside the token directory during normal maintenance. This issue is fixed in commit 5e6e4b4, but has not been included in a released version at the time of publication.

RustCrypto: Elliptic Curves is general purpose Elliptic Curve Cryptography (ECC) support, including types and traits for representing various elliptic curve forms, scalars, points, and public/secret keys composed thereof. In versions 0.14.0-pre.0 and 0.14.0-rc.0, a critical vulnerability exists in the SM2 Public Key Encryption (PKE) implementation where the ephemeral nonce k is generated with severely reduced entropy. A unit mismatch error causes the nonce generation function to request only 32 bits of randomness instead of the expected 256 bits. This reduces the security of the encryption from a 128-bit level to a trivial 16-bit level, allowing a practical attack to recover the nonce k and decrypt any ciphertext given only the public key and ciphertext. crypto-js is a JavaScript library of crypto standards.

crypto-js is a JavaScript library of crypto standards. Prior to version 4.2.0, crypto-js PBKDF2 is 1,000 times weaker than originally specified in 1993, and at least 1,300,000 times weaker than current industry standard. This is because it both defaults to SHA1, a cryptographic hash algorithm considered insecure since at least 2005, and defaults to one single iteration, a 'strength' or 'difficulty' value specified at 1,000 when specified in 1993. PBKDF2 relies on iteration count as a countermeasure to preimage and collision attacks. If used to protect passwords, the impact is high. If used to generate signatures, the impact is high. Version 4.2.0 contains a patch for this issue. As a workaround, configure crypto-js to use SHA256 with at least 250,000 iterations.

cryptography is a package designed to expose cryptographic primitives and recipes to Python developers. In affected versions `Cipher.update_into` would accept Python objects which implement the buffer protocol, but provide only immutable buffers. Ethermint is an Ethereum library.

Ethermint is an Ethereum library. In Ethermint running versions before `v0.17.2`, the contract `selfdestruct` invocation permanently removes the corresponding bytecode from the internal database storage. However, due to a bug in the `DeleteAccount`function, all contracts that used the identical bytecode (i.e shared the same `CodeHash`) will also stop working once one contract invokes `selfdestruct`, even though the other contracts did not invoke the `selfdestruct` OPCODE. This vulnerability has been patched in Ethermint version v0.18.0. The patch has state machine-breaking changes for applications using Ethermint, so a coordinated upgrade procedure is required. A workaround is available. If a contract is subject to DoS due to this issue, the user can redeploy the same contract, i.e. with identical bytecode, so that the original contract's code is recovered. The new contract deployment restores the `bytecode hash -> bytecode` entry in the internal state.
