QUIRSO subsequently found 361 compromised IPs across 47 countries after a suspected APT deployed a reverse SSH tool for persistence and remote access.   • Critical HTTP Request Smuggling in http4s Ember HTTP/1.1 Server and Client
    http4s Ember's HTTP/1.1 implementation fails to reject messages that contain both a Transfer-Encoding and a Content-Length header, allowing request-smuggling (CL.TE/TE.CL) desynchronization between an intermediary and the Ember backend. An unauthenticated attacker can exploit an ember-server deployed behind a keep-alive intermediary that forwards both headers to smuggle a second request, bypass the intermediary's access controls, poison caches, or prepend attacker-controlled data to a victim's request. The shared response parser also lets a malicious or compromised upstream desynchronize an ember-client connection, exposing downstream consumers. Affected deployments are those running http4s versions prior to 0.23.35 or 1.0.0-M47 with the Ember backend; the flaw is fixed in 0.23.35 and 1.0.0-M47. There is no known public PoC, no CISA KEV listing, and no evidence of in-the-wild exploitation at this time, though the 9.2 CVSS score reflects the severity when the deployment pattern (proxy + Ember) is present.

  • Unauthenticated RCE via HTTP/2 HPACK Path Header Parsing in libwebsockets
    CVE-2026-19773 is a critical (CVSS 9.8) out-of-bounds write in libwebsockets' HTTP/2 HPACK decoder, disclosed by Trend Micro's Zero Day Initiative as ZDI-26-590. When libwebsockets decodes the HTTP/2 :path pseudo-header from a HPACK-compressed request, it fails to properly validate the length of user-supplied data before writing it into an allocated buffer, allowing a write past the end of that buffer. A remote, unauthenticated attacker can trigger this simply by sending a crafted HTTP/2 request to a vulnerable service, and successful exploitation yields arbitrary code execution in the context of the affected process. Any product or service that embeds libwebsockets and has HTTP/2 support enabled is potentially affected, including embedded devices, IoT firmware, and lightweight WebSocket-capable servers. No public proof-of-concept is known, the flaw is not on the CISA KEV list, and there is no indication of in-the-wild exploitation at this time.

    DIRAC, a software framework for distributed scientific computing, contains a critical flaw in DataManagementSystem/Service/FileCatalogHandler.py where the checkDataset method forwards an authenticated caller-controlled datasets value to DatasetManager.__checkDataset, which interpolates datasetName directly into an FC_MetaDatasets SQL query without parameterization. An attacker can exploit this SQL injection to control the MetaQuery value returned from the database, which is then passed to Python eval, resulting in remote command execution as the account running the DIRAC services. Successful exploitation can expose dirac.cfg, database passwords, stored proxies, and tokens, fully compromise the DIRAC system, and allow tampering with local log evidence. Any organization running an affected DIRAC version (prior to 8.0.79, 9.0.22, or 9.1.10) with an exposed FileCatalog service is impacted, though exploitation requires an authenticated account. No public proof of concept is known and the flaw is not listed in CISA's KEV, so exploitation in the wild is not currently evidenced.

  • Fail-Open Authentication Bypass in Bambuddy Print Management System
    Bambuddy, a self-hosted archive and management system for Bambu Lab 3D printers, contains a fail-open authentication flaw in versions from 0.1.6 up to (but not including) 0.2.4.4. By flooding a public endpoint to exhaust server resources, an attacker can cause database access to fail, which makes the authentication code fail open and grants unauthenticated access to every protected endpoint. Successful exploitation gives a remote attacker full access to the archive and management functions without any credentials, exposing print history, files, and printer control data. Any deployment running an affected version — especially instances exposed directly to the internet — is impacted; version 0.2.4.4 patches the issue. There is no evidence of in-the-wild exploitation and no public proof-of-concept is known, but the attack requires no privileges or user interaction and is rated critical (CVSS 4.0: 9.3).

  • Unauthenticated RCE via JNDI Lookup in IBM MQ IVT Application
    IBM MQ contains a critical remote code execution flaw (CVSS 9.8) caused by unsafe JNDI lookup processing, a Log4Shell-class injection issue (CWE-74), that is exploitable only when the IVT (Installation Verification Test) application is deployed on the queue manager.   • Hard-Coded JWT Key Enables Unauthenticated RCE in Issabel PBX Framework
    The Issabel Framework that powers Issabel PBX ships a hard-coded HS256 JWT signing key in the pbxapi index.php file, and this key is identical across every installation. An unauthenticated remote attacker can exploit this to forge valid bearer tokens and call the manager originate endpoint with the System application parameter, which causes Asterisk to execute arbitrary operating-system commands as the Asterisk user. The flaw affects all Issabel PBX deployments running framework code from before commit b97dbaf. Exploitation is actively occurring: the Shadowserver Foundation first observed attacks on 2026-09-09. No public proof-of-concept is known, but exploitation is confirmed in the wild and defenders should treat internet-exposed Issabel systems as compromised until verified otherwise.

  • Authentication Bypass via Social Login in BookStack before 26.05.5
    BookStack versions before 26.05.5 contain an authentication bypass (CWE-290) in the social login implementation: the SocialAuthService::handleLoginCallback lookup matches a linked social account on the user ID alone and ignores the driver column. An unauthenticated attacker who authenticates at any enabled social provider using an ID that collides with an account linked to a different provider is signed in as that BookStack user, bypassing credential verification entirely. Successful exploitation gives full access to the targeted victim's account, including any documents, drafts, and permissions that user holds, up to and including admin accounts. Instances are only exposed if two or more social authentication providers sharing the same driver_id namespace are enabled (for example multiple OAuth providers).     MCP Context Forge's optional python_sandbox_server component, prior to version 1.2... 1.0.2, contains a Python sandbox escape: raw getattr is exposed through safe_builtins, a required _getattr_ guard is omitted, and the validate_code checks only block literal dangerous dunder strings. An attacker can construct dunder names at runtime, traverse the Python class hierarchy, reach subprocess.Popen, and execute arbitrary OS commands with the server process's privileges by invoking the execute_code MCP tool. Deployments exposing the tool over the HTTP/SSE transport can be attacked without authentication (CVSS 10.0, network vector), whereas stdio-only deployments have reduced network reachability.   • Cookie-Based Authentication Bypass in motionEye Prior to 0.44.0
    motionEye (mEye), a web interface for the motion video-surveillance software, accepts client-controlled meye_username and meye_password_hash cookies as authentication credentials without validating them against a server-side session, so any attacker who knows a target username and its password hash can authenticate as that user by setting the cookies manually or by submitting blank credentials through the switch-user flow. The attack requires prior knowledge of the username and hash (reflected in the CVSS 'AT:P' requirement), but the administrator's username and password hash are stored in /etc/motioneye/motion.conf, which is globally readable by default, letting any local shell user harvest reusable administrator credential material. Successful impersonation allows an attacker to lock out the real account, change passwords for persistence, enumerate and destroy data, and exfiltrate camera configuration and recorded footage. All self-hosted motionEye installations running versions before 0.44.0 are affected, including hobbyist and small-business NVR setups that are frequently exposed to the internet. There is no known public proof of concept and no indication of in-the-wild exploitation, but the fix in version 0.44.0 should be treated as urgent given the critical severity rating.

  • Unauthenticated SQL Injection in Yonyou U8 CRM Enables OS Command Execution

IDScan confirms breach after hackers offer 153 million driver’s license scans for sale

IDScan confirmed hackers accessed customer data in its cloud after scans of roughly 153 million driver's licenses surfaced for sale on a dark web marketplace.

IDScan.net published a breach notice on September 4, after learning around September 1 that an unauthorized third party may have accessed or copied customer information in its cloud platform, potentially including full names and government-issued ID numbers. KrebsOnSecurity tied the incident to Nexus, a Russia-linked dark web marketplace selling access to over 153 million US and Canadian driver's license scans, plus 10 million ID cards, more than 3 million travel documents, and at least 579,000 medical cards. The company did not disclose how many customers were affected, is offering free credit monitoring, faces multiple lawsuits, and the FBI has opened an inquiry. Attackers harvested credentials from 280 victims, obtained OS or domain secrets from 147, and gained admin privileges at 12 organizations, using LSASS dumping, pass-the-hash, noPac, and DCSync to dump NTDS.DIT. The adversary went from empty workspace to first RCE in under four hours, and compromised at least 11 organizations within 26 seconds once the campaign launched.

  • Unauthenticated SQL Injection to Root RCE in Cisco Secure Email Gateway
    Cisco AsyncOS Software for Cisco Secure Email Gateway contains a SQL injection flaw (CWE-89) in its email parsing logic, caused by insufficient validation of message content. An unauthenticated, remote attacker can trigger it simply by sending a crafted email containing malicious SQL statements through an affected gateway, with no user interaction required. Successful exploitation allows arbitrary SQL execution that escalates to arbitrary operating-system command execution with root privileges, fully compromising the appliance and all mail flowing through it. Any organization running an affected version of Cisco Secure Email Gateway is impacted, and because these appliances sit on the inbound mail path they are inherently reachable over the network.   • Improper Authentication in JFrog Artifactory Exposes Internal Anonymous Tokens
    JFrog Artifactory contains an improper authentication flaw (CWE-287) in which the server may return its internal anonymous-user token to an unauthenticated caller, even on instances where anonymous access is disabled.
