oras-go is a Go library for managing OCI artifacts.

oras-go is a Go library for managing OCI artifacts. Prior to 2.6.1, registry/remote/repository.go in blobStore.completePushAfterInitialPost follows a registry-controlled Location header during monolithic blob upload and reuses the Authorization header from the initial POST request for the subsequent PUT request, allowing a malicious registry to return a cross-host Location and receive the caller's credentials at an attacker-controlled endpoint. This issue is fixed in version 2.6.1.

Sigstore Timestamp Authority is a service for issuing RFC 3161 timestamps.

Sigstore Timestamp Authority is a service for issuing RFC 3161 timestamps. Prior to 2.1.0, the global wrapMetrics middleware records raw HTTP request path r.URL.Path and raw HTTP request method r.Method as Prometheus labels for latency and request count metric vectors before routing, allowing an unauthenticated remote attacker to issue requests with random paths such as /api/v1/timestamp/ or random HTTP methods and create unbounded permanent time-series entries that exhaust memory. This issue is fixed in version 2.1.0.

cert-manager adds certificates and certificate issuers as resource types in Kubernetes clusters, and simplifies the process of obtaining, renewing and using those certificates. From 1.18.0 until 1.19.6 and 1.20.3, Challenge resources under acme.cert-manager.io can be created directly by namespace users without admission validation tying the Challenge to an Order, owner reference, or Issuer-selected solver, allowing attacker-controlled Challenge.spec.solver values referencing a ClusterIssuer to bypass DNS01 solver selectors such as dnsZones, dnsNames, and matchLabels and cause cert-manager to use ClusterIssuer DNS credentials for attacker-selected provider settings and DNS names, including disclosure of X-Api-User and X-Api-Key headers for acme-dns. This issue is fixed in versions 1.19.6 and 1.20.3.

OpenTelemetry Java Instrumentation provides OpenTelemetry auto-instrumentation and instrumentation libraries for Java.

OpenTelemetry Java Instrumentation provides OpenTelemetry auto-instrumentation and instrumentation libraries for Java. In versions prior to 2.27.0, the RMI context propagation payload reader limits the number of context entries but does not limit the aggregate size of the strings read from the stream. An attacker who can reach an RMI endpoint on an instrumented JVM can send an oversized context propagation payload. This can cause excessive memory allocation while the JVM reads the payload, potentially leading to denial of service. The issue affects only deployments where RMI instrumentation is enabled and an RMI endpoint is network-reachable. This issue has been fixed in version 2.27.0.

containerd is an open-source container runtime.

containerd is an open-source container runtime. In versions prior to 1.7.33, 2.3.2, 2.2.5, 2.1.9, and 2.0.10 the CRI plugin propagates labels from an image config (LABEL instruction in Dockerfile) to a container without validation. runc is a CLI tool for spawning and running containers according to the OCI specification.

runc is a CLI tool for spawning and running containers according to the OCI specification. In versions prior to 1.3.6, 1.4.0-rc.1, 1.4.0-rc.12, 1.5.0-rc.1, and 1.5.0-rc.1, when setting up the container rootfs, setupPtmx and setupDevSymlinks call os.Remove and os.Symlink with a filepath.Join string which allow an image with /dev as a symlink to trick runc into deleting files called ptmx on the host or creating a hardcoded set of symlinks with specific names and targets in an arbitrary pre-existing host directory. This issue is not exploitable under Docker, because Docker creates a top-level read-only layer that masks any malicious /dev symlink present in the container image — unlike some other Linux container tooling, whose higher-level runtimes built on runc remain exposed to exploitation via a malicious image. This issue has been fixed in versions 1.3.6, 1.4.3 and 1.5.0.

A vulnerability in Kedro version 1.2.0 allows an attacker to exploit path traversal by providing a crafted version string.

A vulnerability in Kedro version 1.2.0 allows an attacker to exploit path traversal by providing a crafted version string. The `_get_versioned_path()` method in `kedro/io/core.py` directly interpolates user-supplied version strings into filesystem paths without sanitization. This enables an attacker to escape the intended versioned dataset directory and access files outside the expected path. The issue is also reachable through the CLI via the `--load-versions` parameter, as `_split_load_versions()` in `kedro/framework/cli/utils.py` does not validate the version string. This vulnerability can lead to unauthorized file reads, data poisoning, cross-project or cross-tenant data access, and broader downstream impacts in environments where Kedro is used with automation or orchestration layers.

CloudNativePG is a platform designed to manage PostgreSQL databases within Kubernetes environments.

CloudNativePG is a platform designed to manage PostgreSQL databases within Kubernetes environments. Prior to 1.29.1 and 1.28.3, the CloudNativePG metrics exporter opens its PostgreSQL connection as the postgres superuser via the pod-local Unix socket, then demotes the session with SET ROLE pg_monitor. SET ROLE changes only current_user; session_user remains postgres. Any SQL expression evaluated inside the scrape session can invoke RESET ROLE to recover real superuser privileges, then use COPY ... TO PROGRAM to spawn an OS-level subprocess as the postgres user inside the primary pod. The READ ONLY transaction flag does not block this; it gates writes to database state, not external processes. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.29.1 and 1.28.3.

AGL app-framework-main thru 17.1.12 contains a Zip Slip path traversal vulnerability (CWE-22) combined with a TOCTOU race condition (CWE-367) in the widget installation flow. The is_valid_filename function in wgtpkg-zip.c validates ZIP entry names but does not check for dot notation directory traversal sequences it only blocks absolute paths. The zread extraction function uses openat(workdirfd, filename, O_CREAT) which resolves dot notation values relative to the work directory, allowing files to be written anywhere on the filesystem. Critically, in function install_widget in file wgtpkg-install.c, extraction via zread occurs BEFORE signature verification via check_all_signatures. Even if signature verification fails, the error cleanup (remove_workdir) only deletes the temporary work directory files written outside via path traversal persist permanently.

Tekton Pipelines project provides k8s-style resources for declaring CI/CD-style pipelines.

Tekton Pipelines project provides k8s-style resources for declaring CI/CD-style pipelines. Starting in version 1.0.0 and prior to versions 1.0.2, 1.3.4, 1.6.2, 1.9.3, and 1.11.1, the git resolver's revision parameter is passed directly as a positional argument to git fetch without any validation that it does not begin with a - character. Because git parses flags from mixed positional arguments, an attacker can inject arbitrary git fetch flags such as --upload-pack= . Combined with the validateRepoURL function explicitly permitting URLs that begin with / (local filesystem paths), a tenant who can submit ResolutionRequest objects can chain these two behaviors to execute an arbitrary binary on the resolver pod. The tekton-pipelines-resolvers ServiceAccount holds cluster-wide get/list/watch on all Secrets, so code execution on the resolver pod enables full cluster-wide secret exfiltration. Versions 1.0.2, 1.3.4, 1.6.2, 1.9.3, and 1.11.1 fix the issue.

Sigstore Timestamp Authority is a service for issuing RFC 3161 timestamps.

Sigstore Timestamp Authority is a service for issuing RFC 3161 timestamps. Versions 2.0.5 and below contain an authorization bypass vulnerability in the VerifyTimestampResponse function. VerifyTimestampResponse correctly verifies the certificate chain signature, but the TSA-specific constraint checks in VerifyLeafCert uses the first non-CA certificate from the PKCS#7 certificate bag instead of the leaf certificate from the verified chain. An attacker can exploit this by prepending a forged certificate to the certificate bag while the message is signed with an authorized key, causing the library to validate the signature against one certificate but perform authorization checks against another. This vulnerability only affects users of the timestamp-authority/v2/pkg/verification package and does not affect the timestamp-authority service itself or sigstore-go. The issue has been fixed in version 2.0.6.

Podman Desktop is a graphical tool for developing on containers and Kubernetes.

Podman Desktop is a graphical tool for developing on containers and Kubernetes. Prior to 1.26.2, an unauthenticated HTTP server exposed by Podman Desktop allows any network attacker to remotely trigger denial-of-service conditions and extract sensitive information. By abusing missing connection limits and timeouts, an attacker can exhaust file descriptors and kernel memory, leading to application crash or full host freeze. Additionally, verbose error responses disclose internal paths and system details (including usernames on Windows), aiding further exploitation. The issue requires no authentication or user interaction and is exploitable over the network. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.26.2.

Antrea is a Kubernetes networking solution intended to be Kubernetes native.

Antrea is a Kubernetes networking solution intended to be Kubernetes native. Prior to 2.4.5 and 2.5.2, a missing encryption vulnerability affects inter-Node Pod traffic. In Antrea clusters configured for dual-stack networking with IPsec encryption enabled (trafficEncryptionMode: ipsec), Antrea fails to apply encryption for IPv6 Pod traffic. While the IPv4 traffic is correctly encrypted via ESP (Encapsulating Security Payload), traffic using IPv6 is transmitted in plaintext. This occurs because the packets are encapsulated (using Geneve or VXLAN) but bypass the IPsec encryption layer. Impacted Users: users with dual-stack clusters and IPsec encryption enabled. Single-stack IPv4 or IPv6 clusters are not affected. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.4.5 and 2.5.2.
