Insufficient validation of node IDs in Qt SVG module allows arbitrary QML/JavaScript code injection when loading malicious SVG files through the VectorImage component in Qt Quick. While QML execution is typically more restricted than native code execution, this could still lead to denial of service, information disclosure, or other impacts depending on the application's privilege level and data access.

When loading a specifically crafted ICNS format image file in QImage then it will trigger a crash. This issue affects Qt from versions 6.3.0 through 6.5.9, from 6.6.0 through 6.8.4, 6.9.0. This is fixed in 6.5.10, 6.8.5 and 6.9.1.

encodeText in QDom in Qt before 6.8.0 has a complex algorithm involving XML string copy and inline replacement of parts of a string (with relocation of later data).

QAbstractOAuth in Qt Network Authorization in Qt before 5.15.17, 6.x before 6.2.13, 6.3.x through 6.5.x before 6.5.6, and 6.6.x through 6.7.x before 6.7.1 uses only the time to seed the PRNG, which may result in guessable values.

projeqtor up to 11.2.0 was discovered to contain a remote code execution (RCE) vulnerability via the component /view/print.php.

An issue was discovered in gui/util/qktxhandler.cpp in Qt before 5.15.17, 6.x before 6.2.12, 6.3.x through 6.5.x before 6.5.5, and 6.6.x before 6.6.2. A buffer overflow and application crash can occur via a crafted KTX image file.

This is due to missing or incorrect nonce validation on the save_postdata() function. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to save post data via a forged request granted they can trick a site administrator into performing an action such as clicking on a link.

An issue was discovered in Qt before 5.15.15, 6.x before 6.2.9, and 6.3.x through 6.5.x before 6.5.1. When a SVG file with an image inside it is rendered, a QTextLayout buffer overflow can be triggered.

Qt Network incorrectly parses the strict-transport-security (HSTS) header, allowing unencrypted connections to be established, even when explicitly prohibited by the server. This happens if the case used for this header does not exactly match.

Qt before 6.4.3 allows a denial of service via a crafted string when the SQL ODBC driver plugin is used and the size of SQLTCHAR is 4. The affected versions are 5.x before 5.15.13, 6.x before 6.2.8, and 6.3.x before 6.4.3.

A buffer overflow vulnerability exists in the QML QtScript Reflect API of Qt Project Qt 6.3.2. A specially-crafted javascript code can trigger an out-of-bounds memory access, which can lead to arbitrary code execution. Target application would need to access a malicious web page to trigger this vulnerability.

QTIWorks is a software suite for standards-based assessment delivery. Prior to version 1.0-beta15, the QTIWorks Engine allows users to upload QTI content packages as ZIP files. The ZIP handling code does not sufficiently check the paths of files contained within ZIP files, so can insert files into other locations in the filesystem if they are writable by the process running the QTIWorks Engine. In extreme cases, this could allow anonymous users to change files in arbitrary locations in the filesystem. In normal QTIWorks Engine deployments, the impact is somewhat reduced because the default QTIWorks configuration does not enable the public demo functionality, so ZIP files can only be uploaded by users with "instructor" privileges. This vulnerability is fixed in version 1.0-beta15. There are no database configuration changes required when upgrading to this version. No known workarounds for this issue exist.

A flaw was found in Qt. An out-of-bounds read vulnerability was found in QRadialFetchSimd in qt/qtbase/src/gui/painting/qdrawhelper_p.h in Qt/Qtbase. While rendering and displaying a crafted Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG) file this flaw may lead to an unauthorized memory access. The highest threat from this vulnerability is to data confidentiality and the application availability.

Qt through 5.15.8 and 6.x through 6.2.3 can load system library files from an unintended working directory.

In Qt 5.9.x through 5.15.x before 5.15.9 and 6.x before 6.2.4 on Linux and UNIX, QProcess could execute a binary from the current working directory when not found in the PATH.

A Cross Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability exists in Projeqtor 9.3.1 via /projeqtor/tool/saveAttachment.php, which allows an attacker to upload a SVG file containing malicious JavaScript code.

An issue was discovered in Qt through 5.12.9, and 5.13.x through 5.15.x before 5.15.1. read_xbm_body in gui/image/qxbmhandler.cpp has a buffer over-read.

Qt 5.12.2 through 5.14.2, as used in unofficial builds of Mumble 1.3.0 and other products, mishandles OpenSSL's error queue, which can cause a denial of service to QSslSocket users. Because errors leak in unrelated TLS sessions, an unrelated session may be disconnected when any handshake fails. (Mumble 1.3.1 is not affected, regardless of the Qt version.)

The MQTT protocol 3.1.1 requires a server to set a timeout value of 1.5 times the Keep-Alive value specified by a client, which allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (loss of the ability to establish new connections), as demonstrated by SlowITe.

setMarkdown in Qt before 5.14.2 has a use-after-free related to QTextMarkdownImporter::insertBlock.

The image-upload feature in ProjeQtOr 7.2.5 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code by uploading a .shtml file with "#exec cmd" because rejected files remain on the server, with predictable filenames, after a "This file is not a valid image" error message.
