Earlier this week we had some fun at our third FOIA Forum, an archive of which you can see below. Thank you to all the folks who showed up and asked really thoughtful questions, as always. And thank you to our subscribers who make this possible!
This time, we discussed how to find other people's FOIA requests and how to build off of them. We also talked about how to approach them for permission to use their documents, how we take a FOIA response from document dump to fully reported story. Finally, we talked about how to use public meetings to inform FOIAs, and how to use FOIAs to inform what public meetings you should watch out for. We also talked a bit about FOIAing for documents about the Temple of Satan.
