Why Do These Instagram Electricians Want to 'Deep Throat' You?

Since we started reporting on the many types of scams, nonconsensual deepfake porn apps, and outright crimes that are being advertised on Instagram, 404 Media readers have sent us a lot of tips about the terrible, wild, and sometimes hilariously bad ads that make it through the ad platform’s wildly infective moderation systems. 

Of all of these, probably none are more bizarre than a series of ads sent to me by Dan McQuade, an editor at Defector, which imply that various tradespeople—electricians, roofers, etc—will come to your house and not only be good and timely contractors, but also will literally suck you off. 

Here, for example, is an ad shared by an account called Helpful advises for what sounds like sex work very badly disguised as an ad for an electrician. 

“Our girls are working like ‘electricians’, if you know what i mean,” the ad copy says (I do not know what they mean). “There will be the electrician words, but our girls will be after them there!”
