This course is not truly “Free”. To enroll you must divulge your Email address, your (supposed) real name, and the country where you live. Also, the box saying (effectively) that you want to receive Spam from the organizers for the rest of your life (and beyond), is by default checked for you. Finally, you must accept and agree to their “Terms of Service, Privacy Policy and Honor Code”, which Is provided for you to read (if you live long enough).

..or candidates mumbling “sumn sumn Internet” appear smarter, especially when the word “tubes” gets simultaneously emitted, and young voters tend to like smart candidates.

We’re talking about the kind of kids willing to complete surveys, after all. Political surveys even.

Interesting, I was wondering how MOOC’s make money, this one has a freemium model, you can “audit” the course for free, or pay $50 and get a certificate of completion. I wonder if these certificates are worth anything?
