Behind the Blog: Bobbleheads and Maxed

This is Behind the Blog, where we share our behind-the-scenes thoughts about how a few of our top stories of the week came together. This week, we discuss good dogs, good games, getting documents and netsex.

EMANUEL:  I was out having a nice Saturday morning with the fam last week when I remembered we needed to pick up a few things from the grocery store, so we decided to stop there on the way home. My wife went in with the baby and I stayed outside with the dog. I feel like it’s pretty rude to take your dog inside anywhere where dogs aren’t explicitly invited, so I waited outside even though there’s nowhere to sit and chill and even though he’s a very good and well behaved boy, and despite it being increasingly common to see dogs inside everywhere since the pandemic.  

So there I am, being saintly to my family, the grocery store, and my community by standing outside in the moderate heat, when someone suddenly shouts “what kind of dog is that?”
