1.1.1.1 now supports post-quantum DNSSEC, all 2,420 bytes of it

Cloudflare's 1.1.1.1 resolver now validates post-quantum DNSSEC signatures using ML-DSA-44, a 2,420-byte NIST algorithm, preparing DNS for post-quantum migration by 2029.

Cloudflare enabled 1.1.1.1 to validate DNSSEC signatures using ML-DSA-44 (algorithm 18), a NIST-standardized post-quantum signature with 1,312-byte public keys and 2,420-byte signatures, roughly 38x larger than ECDSA P-256. The large signatures exceed common DNS-over-UDP limits, forcing fallback to TCP and creating downgrade risks while conventional algorithms must be published alongside. Cloudflare cites the risk of a quantum computer breaking RSA/ECDSA signatures by 2030 and plans full post-quantum security by 2029.

Product showcase: Doppler secures secrets for humans, pipelines, and AI agents

Doppler's secrets management platform centralizes credentials for engineers, CI/CD pipelines, MCP servers, and AI agents with runtime injection and dynamic secrets.

Doppler stores API keys, database URLs, tokens, and certificates in a single control plane and injects them at runtime, replacing .env files for human and machine identities including AI agents. It supports OIDC with short-lived identity tokens for Azure, AWS, and GCP, dynamic secrets scoped and time-boxed to single sessions, SCIM provisioning, 50+ integrations, and an MCP server that lets agents request configurations natively. Permissions are enforced at each layer so raw secrets stay out of logs, prompts, and model context, with versioning, rollback, SIEM log forwarding, and cloud or on-prem deployment.

Metasploit Wrap Up: This One Goes to Sixteen!

Metasploit adds 16 modules including 10 exploits, five covering CISA KEV vulnerabilities in Cisco, SonicWall, PaperCut, JetBrains and Langflow.

Rapid7's weekly Metasploit update ships 16 new modules, 10 of them exploit modules, with five targeting CISA KEV entries. New exploits cover Cisco Secure Firewall Management Center auth bypass (CVE-2026-20079), a SonicWall SMA1000 SSRF-to-root RCE chain (CVE-2026-83548/CVE-2026-83549), JetBrains TeamCity deserialization RCE (CVE-2026-63077), PaperCut NG/MF chain (CVE-2026-81578/CVE-2026-82078), and Langflow authenticated RCE (CVE-2026-19295). The SonicWall and PaperCut chains were reported as actively exploited zero-days, and a new ESC8 relay module exploits CVE-2026-20929 against AD CS Web Enrollment.

Investing Together: Wiz Defend and Google Security Operations

Wiz ships a Content Pack for Google Security Operations enabling shared investigations, Blue Agent AI analysis, bidirectional sync and cloud telemetry streaming.

Wiz announced deeper integration between Wiz Defend and Google Security Operations via a shared data model and an official Wiz Content Pack with out-of-the-box rules, dashboards, search queries, playbooks, and response policies. Wiz Blue Agent AI-powered threat investigations, correlating cloud context, runtime signals, and identity data, are now accessible directly within Google SecOps. Status, severity, and comments bidirectionally sync in real time, and sensor runtime events can be streamed into Google SecOps for hunting and retention.

12 Best Enterprise Browsers Compared (2026): Features & Pricing

2026 comparison of twelve enterprise browsers ranks Island and Palo Alto Talon as purpose-built leaders, with Chrome Enterprise and Edge free or bundled.

Guide compares twelve enterprise browser options across three models: purpose-built secure browsers (Island, Talon, Surf), layered controls on existing browsers (Chrome Enterprise, Edge for Business, LayerX, Seraphic), and streamed/isolated browsers (Kasm). Island and Palo Alto's Prisma Access Browser lead the purpose-built category for BYOD and contractor DLP. It also notes Mammoth Cyber has ceased operations.

Zscaler Agentic SOC combines AI agents with zero trust telemetry

Zscaler launched Agentic SOC, an AI-agent-driven security operations platform combining zero trust telemetry with frontier models from Anthropic and OpenAI.

Zscaler announced Agentic SOC, a security operations platform built around specialized AI agents for triage, root-cause investigation, verdict assignment, and automated threat containment. The platform pairs Zscaler's zero trust telemetry, drawn from roughly 750 billion daily transactions and a large decoy mesh network, with frontier models from Anthropic and OpenAI plus proprietary threat intelligence. It features closed-loop inline remediation that can isolate compromised users, block command-and-control traffic, and cut off lateral movement, alongside a context graph that correlates third-party data. Continuous threat hunting combines AI automation with human experts from Zscaler and Red Canary, and customer Maire Tecnimont is cited as an early adopter.

BleachBit 6.0.4 fixes secure wiping that skipped clusters on Windows

BleachBit 6.0.4 fixes Windows secure-wipe bugs that skipped fragmented-file clusters, adds HSTS tracker deletion, early macOS support, and broad hardening.

The open-source cleaner BleachBit released version 6.0.4, fixing Windows shredding bugs where fragmented files were wiped incompletely because noncontiguous clusters were skipped, leaving potentially sensitive data on disk. The release adds deletion of dynamic HSTS tracking data in six Chromium-based browsers and Zen, early macOS support including a Safari cleaner and full CLI, plus hardening such as absolute paths for ipconfig/taskkill, symlink and reparse-point handling, DTD-free XML parsing, and PATH/environment sanitization when running as root.

TruffleHog AWS Analyze reduces remediation time on leaked AWS credentials

Truffle Security launched TruffleHog AWS Analyze, which maps leaked AWS keys' permissions and role assumptions; research found 88% of 64,024 leaked keys still active.

Truffle Security announced TruffleHog AWS Analyze, a TruffleHog Enterprise feature that enriches leaked AWS credentials with identity, effective permissions, and role-assumption context to help teams assess blast radius and prioritize remediation, extending earlier coverage of SaaS and Google Cloud to AWS. Truffle Security research on 64,024 unique leaked AWS keys found 88% still active, a median exposure of five years, only 14% rotated, 84% with full administrator access, and 1 in 6 being root keys, including 929 keys AWS had flagged via its compromised-key quarantine policy that still authenticated. A scan of 7.6 petabytes of public AI training data on Hugging Face found 3,343 live AWS keys, over 900 of which could list S3 buckets holding at least 51.7 TB of private data.
