rosbridge_library Protocol.incoming() quadratic CPU cost in JSON fallback

rosbridge_library's Protocol.incoming() has quadratic CPU cost in its JSON fallback, enabling denial of service via crafted messages.

Evgenios Gkritsis disclosed an algorithmic-complexity defect in rosbridge_suite's rosbridge_library Protocol.incoming() JSON fallback path, classified as CWE-407/CWE-1050. The flaw exists in the current ros2 branch and was not removed by PR #1199, having been present since the fallback was introduced. Crafted input can drive quadratic CPU cost and cause denial of service.

graphql-go/graphql <= 0.8.1: quadratic CPU-exhaustion DoS via OverlappingFieldsCanBeMergedRule

Unauthenticated quadratic CPU-exhaustion DoS disclosed in graphql-go/graphql up to v0.8.1 via OverlappingFieldsCanBeMergedRule; no fixed version exists.

Evgenios Gkritsis publicly disclosed an algorithmic-complexity denial-of-service flaw in github.com/graphql-go/graphql affecting all released versions up to and including v0.8.1. The defect is triggered via the OverlappingFieldsCanBeMergedRule validation, is unauthenticated and network-reachable, and causes quadratic CPU exhaustion. No fixed version exists; the disclosure was public because the project has no private security-reporting channel or SECURITY.md.

Oracle’s September patches put Fusion Middleware back in the hot seat

Oracle's September 2026 CPU ships 673 patches including six CVSS 10.0 flaws in Fusion Middleware and Hyperion, none exploited in the wild.

Oracle's September 2026 Critical Security Patch Update delivers 673 patches across 17 product families, led by E-Business Suite with 159 fixes and Fusion Middleware with 153. Six CVSS 10.0 vulnerabilities in Access Manager, Forms, Internet Directory, Platform Security for Java, WebLogic Server, and Hyperion are remotely exploitable without authentication, and Oracle reports none exploited in the wild. Now patching monthly, Oracle urged immediate deployment and warned that unsupported releases are not tested for these flaws.

Cloudflare Workers Spectre Attack Leaks JWT From Co

Researchers demonstrated a remote Spectre attack leaking a JWT between co-located Cloudflare Workers at 12 bits per second, 360x the 2021 rate.

Security researchers showed a remote Spectre attack against Cloudflare Workers that leaked a JWT from a co-located Worker at up to 12 bits per second with 99.16% accuracy, 360 times the 2021 demonstration rate. The attack exploited weaknesses in DyPrIs dynamic process isolation, where long-lived Durable Object invocations could run before isolation and WebSocket-heavy I/O suppressed the branch-misprediction signal. Cloudflare deployed improved DyPrIs, the V8 Sandbox, and MPK-based in-process isolation, and found no indicators of active exploitation over three years.
