CVE-2026-87464: RCE outside sandbox in Chromium prior to 153.0.8010.36

CVE-2026-87464 is a critical use-after-free in Chrome's WebGL allowing sandbox-escaping RCE via crafted HTML pages, fixed in 153.0.8010.36.

Google Chrome prior to 153.0.8010.36 contains a use-after-free in WebGL that allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code outside the sandbox via a crafted HTML page. Google rates it as Chromium security severity Critical, though tracker details are restricted. Debian indicates all current Chromium packages are affected, and the flaw likely impacts Chromium-derived browsers. No active exploitation is mentioned in the disclosure.

Three CVSS 10.0 ServiceNow Flaws Could Let Unauthenticated Attackers Execute Code and SQL

ServiceNow patched four AI Platform flaws, including three pre-authentication CVSS 10.0 issues enabling unauthenticated code execution, SQL injection, and privilege escalation.

ServiceNow released patches on August 27, 2026 for four AI Platform flaws: CVE-2026-18885 (code injection in the GraphQL Composite Data API), CVE-2026-18886 (improper access control enabling privilege escalation), and CVE-2026-74820 (SQL injection), all self-rated CVSS 10.0 and exploitable without authentication, plus CVE-2026-6876, an 8.7 sandbox escape. Updates were deployed to hosted instances, but self-hosted customers must patch affected Xanadu, Yokohama, Zurich, and Australia release lines themselves. ServiceNow says it is not aware of exploitation of the new flaws, and no public exploit code existed as of August 28, 2026; separately, Defused reported in-the-wild exploitation of the earlier CVE-2026-6875 (CVSS 9.5), later noting the captured payload matched Searchlight Cyber's PoC.

Unpatched Kaltura mwEmbed Flaws Could Let Remote Attackers Read Files and Run Code

CERT/CC disclosed unpatched Kaltura mwEmbed flaws CVE-2026-19913 and CVE-2026-19912 allowing unauthenticated file reads and remote code execution.

CERT/CC disclosed two unpatched flaws in Kaltura's mwEmbed HTML5 player library, both rooted in unsafe deserialization in mwEmbedLoader.php and exploitable without authentication. CVE-2026-19913 (reporter-scored 9.1) reflects local file contents back via the ServiceUrl parameter, exposing secrets in local.ini; CVE-2026-19912 (reporter-scored 10.0) achieves PHP code execution by writing attacker-controlled objects into web-accessible directories via the uiconf_id parameter. No patch exists and CERT/CC could not reach Kaltura; affected releases include html5lib v2.45, v2.103 and earlier, with the shared multi-tenant CDN hosts also impacted. No exploitation or KEV listing was reported as of August 25, 2026.

Zoom Annotation Flaws Could Let a Meeting Participant Hijack Another Attendee's Client

A Security researchers disclosed three Zoom annotation flaws enabling zero-click client hijacking; Zoom shipped fixes in June and July with no exploitation reported.

Researchers at A Security found three flaws in Zoom's annotation feature: CVE-2026-53413 (CVSS 8.3, buffer over-write), CVE-2026-53414 (CVSS 6.5, buffer over-read), and CVE-2026-53415 (CVSS 8.3, use-after-free). A crafted drawing object sent over the wrong message channel can overwrite adjacent memory and hijack another attendee's client with no user interaction. Fixes shipped in Zoom Workplace 7.1.5/7.0.6, VDI Client 7.0.11/6.6.16, and Zoom Rooms/Meeting SDK 7.1.0+ during June and July. No exploitation has been reported and the flaws are absent from CISA's Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog.
