‘Now We Can Know Everything and Do Anything,’ Jensen Huang Says at Dreamforce

Salesforce unveiled Koa, its first CRM reasoning model post-trained on NVIDIA Nemotron 3 Super, announced during Jensen Huang's Dreamforce keynote.

At Salesforce Dreamforce, NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang joined Marc Benioff onstage as Salesforce announced Koa, its first CRM reasoning model, post-trained from NVIDIA Nemotron 3 Super using NeMo RL, NeMo Gym, and NeMo AutoModel. Koa was fine-tuned on a proprietary synthetic dataset drawn from nearly three decades of enterprise CRM deployments across 14+ industries, with no customer data used in training or inference. On Salesforce's CRM Bench of real-world tasks, Koa matches or exceeds leading model performance on CRM actions with 3x fewer errors. Koa already powers an employee agent in Slack, enters customer pilots in October with Formula 1, UChicago Medicine, Baxter Credit Union, 1-800Accountant, Engine, and Xero, and reaches general availability in Winter 2026 in U.S. regions.

Salesforce and Nvidia’s new reasoning model is everything the AI labs should fear

Salesforce and Nvidia launch Koa, Salesforce's first reasoning model, built on Nvidia's open-weight Nemotron and post-trained on synthetic sales and support data.

Salesforce announced Koa at Dreamforce, its first reasoning model, built on Nvidia's open-weight Nemotron and post-trained with synthetic data mimicking sales and customer-support scenarios rather than real customer data. Koa will be offered through the Agentforce platform's AI gateway as a cheaper, token-efficient alternative to closed frontier models like Claude and ChatGPT for enterprise tasks. Salesforce simultaneously announced a ClaudeForce partnership with Anthropic keeping customer data inside Salesforce's infrastructure.

Nvidia and Palantir team up to run supply chains with AI, starting with Nvidia's own million-part operation

Nvidia and Palantir integrated open Nemotron models and cuOpt into Foundry to run AI-driven supply chains, starting with Nvidia's million-part operation.

Nvidia and Palantir announced a partnership to run supply chains with AI, first deployed on Nvidia's own network of millions of parts and thousands of suppliers; a single Vera Rubin rack contains 1.3 million components. Palantir is integrating open Nemotron models into its Foundry platform for customer fine-tuning, while Nvidia cuOpt handles scenario planning and optimization, with decisions fed back to improve models over time. The stack runs on customer hardware or in the cloud through the Sovereign AI OS reference architecture with infrastructure partners Dell, Cisco, Rackspace, and Nebius, with more details shown at AIPCon 11.

AI labs have a data trust problem that their policies haven't solved

Nvidia, Palantir, and Booz Allen restrict Anthropic's Fable over data-retention distrust, exposing gaps in AI labs' customer data policies.

Nvidia limits Anthropic's Fable to non-sensitive work and runs its own Nemotron models for internal tasks, while Palantir blocks Fable deployment until Anthropic grants irrevocable zero-data-retention guarantees, and Booz Allen bans it for proprietary cybersecurity work. John Schulman and researcher Sarah Hooker explain that labs can still extract customer IP from metadata, user traces, and synthetic data even under zero data retention. The trust crisis crystallized around Tristan Buckmaster's accusation that OpenAI's Codex absorbed his Navier-Stokes drafts, though OpenAI later stated his prompts could not have influenced its model.

Rethinking Heterogeneous System Disaggregation for Subquadratic Attention

SQD disaggregates LLM inference by quadratic versus subquadratic attention layers, improving energy efficiency up to 56% on heterogeneous systems versus GPU-only baselines.

SQD (SubQuadratic Disaggregation) splits decode not by operator type but by quadratic versus subquadratic attention, matching their distinct arithmetic intensity and memory footprints. For sparse attention LLMs it separates top-k selection (requiring full KV indexing) from top-k attention plus FFN; for linear and sliding-window models it separates dense attention layers from subquadratic layers plus FFN. On an adjusted 8xB200 heterogeneous proxy, tokens-per-joule improves 53% on GLM 5.2, 31% on Nemotron 3 Ultra, and 56% on Gemma 4 31B. A Rubin plus LPX analytical model shows 1.2x-1.5x tighter achievable latencies and up to 3.6x higher throughput versus attention-FFN disaggregation.

Sakana AI Launches Fugu Max and Fugu Ultra v2 for Cheaper, Stronger Multi-Agent Orchestration

Sakana AI released Fugu Max and Fugu Ultra v2, API-only orchestrator models that route tasks across model pools to cut costs and boost multi-step reasoning.

Sakana AI released Fugu Max and Fugu Ultra v2, two orchestrator models that route queries across a pool of third-party and open-weights models, including the NVIDIA Nemotron family. Fugu Max is priced at $2 per million input and $6 per million output tokens, 40-60% cheaper per output token than Sonnet 5, GPT 5.6 Terra, and Kimi K3, and reportedly wins 6 benchmarks including Terminal Bench 2.1 and GPQA Diamond. Fugu Ultra v2 targets complex multi-step reasoning, scoring 48.3 on Chartography and 74.3 on DeepSWE. Both are live through Sakana's OpenAI-compatible API only, with no open weights and no EU/EEA availability.
