ActionSplice: In-Flight Action Editing for Interactive World Models

ActionSplice enables in-flight action editing in chunk-autoregressive video world models via a lightweight corrector, avoiding rollback or waiting for the next chunk.

ActionSplice is an inference framework that formulates in-flight action editing for chunk-autoregressive video world models as Counterfactual State Transport (CST), where a lightweight corrector transports the interrupted backbone-native representation toward the matched state induced by the revised action. The world model and sampler remain frozen, and sampling resumes without replaying completed evaluations. Across minWM-Wan Action2V and HY-WM1.5, the retargeting variant CST-R reduces rollback-relative LPIPS by 61.5% and 75.9% versus direct condition swapping, while the temporal-splicing variant CST-T reduces suffix LPIPS by 56.1% and 77.5% with 2.73x and 1.69x pixel-ready speedups over waiting.

VoT: Vision-of-Thought for Unified Multimodal Representation Alignment

Researchers propose Vision-of-Thought (VoT), a discrete visual-planning token layer between VLMs and diffusion transformers improving text-to-image semantic alignment.

VoT introduces a discrete visual-thinking layer between vision-language models and diffusion transformers, letting the VLM act as a multimodal planner that emits tokens describing objects and layouts before pixel generation. A specialized VoT tokenizer is trained with VLM alignment, feature reconstruction, and vector-quantization losses. Experiments show improved semantic alignment and a structured, interpretable interface for controllable generation.

Alissonerdx/Minimax-H3-ComfyUI — new model trending #30 on Hugging Face

Alissonerdx released a rank-64 LoRA sharpening videos from MiniMax H3 in ComfyUI via guide-latent conditioning, trending #30 on Hugging Face.

Alissonerdx published Minimax-H3-ComfyUI, a repository containing a rank-64 LoRA (minimax_h3_lms_v1.0_r64) that sharpens source videos while keeping them photorealistic. It targets the MiniMax H3 ref2va base model, runs with Comfy-Org's ComfyUI-ready weights, and uses the native MiniMaxH3AddGuide node for aligned guide-latent conditioning. The release ships with a ComfyUI workflow, eight before/after example videos, and an Apache 2.0 license.

RenderFormer-V2: Neural Rendering with Heterogeneous Scene Primitives

RenderFormer-V2 is a transformer-based neural renderer handling caustics, volumetric scattering and out-of-distribution materials without per-scene training or specialized code.

RenderFormer-V2 is a learned transformer-based neural rendering model that models global light transport as a sequence-to-sequence transformation, handling caustics, volumetric scattering, environment lighting, textured and displaced surfaces and out-of-distribution materials. It uses a two-stage process: a view-independent stage resolving primitive-to-primitive transport, and a view-dependent stage converting the neural scene representation into pixels. Improvements include combined windowed-attention with a rendering-informed attention sink for scalability, support for heterogeneous primitives like environment maps and participating media, and a surface-reflectance-independent neural material encoding, validated across diverse scenes with extensive ablations.

Viggle/Viggle-Animate — new model trending #28 on Hugging Face

Viggle released Viggle-Animate, a 33.1B MiniMax-H3 finetune replacing video characters from one repainted frame, rendering 124 frames in 26 seconds on one GPU.

Viggle-Animate replaces the character in a video using only a driving video and one of its own repainted frames, with no pose estimator, segmentation mask, face tracker, or text encoder. It is a 33.1B full finetune of MiniMax-H3's ref2va transformer, jointly distilled with DMD across two teachers split by noise level, so rendering takes three forward passes per clip. On a B200 GPU it renders 124 frames in 26 seconds, 6.1x faster per clip than Wan2.2-Animate-14B in matched comparisons. The method assumes no person-specific representation, so it generalizes beyond humans; a demo, research write-up, and ComfyUI nodes are available.

Russian APT BlueDelta Uses HOOKEDGE to Target Defense and Diplomatic Organizations

Russian GRU-linked BlueDelta (APT28) deployed HOOKEDGE backdoor via macro Word lures against European governments using webhook.site and Microsoft Edge for stealthy C2.

Recorded Future's Insikt Group documented a BlueDelta (APT28/Fancy Bear/Forest Blizzard) espionage campaign from late September 2025 through early April 2026 targeting government and diplomatic organizations in Romania, Spain and Türkiye. The group delivered HOOKEDGE, a lightweight Windows batch-script backdoor, via macro-enabled Word documents with diplomatic lures, including one impersonating Spain's Ministry of the Presidency after a Spanish-Moldovan meeting. HOOKEDGE uses webhook.site as C2, a scheduled task every 30 minutes that downloads commands through Microsoft Edge, and canary pixels like docopened.jpg to track phishing funnel progress. A second tier with 5-minute check-ins served high-value victims, and beaconing intervals were stretched to 61 minutes to evade sandboxes; code overlap ties HOOKEDGE to BlueDelta's earlier HEADLACE backdoor.

Risky Bulletin: Two TeamPCP members arrested in Australia

Australian Federal Police arrested two alleged TeamPCP members behind supply-chain worm attacks that stole over 500,000 credentials from compromised open-source libraries.

The AFP arrested alleged TeamPCP leader Ruben Thomson, 21, and Louis Gaebler, 23, near Perth; both were charged and remain in custody. The group inserted a self-spreading credential-stealing worm into open-source projects including Trivy, KICS, LiteLLM, and Telnyx, harvesting more than 500,000 credentials used for network access, ransomware, extortion, and sales. About 78,000 tokens and secrets from nearly 2,200 organizations leaked online last month, and the FBI supported the investigation that began in April.

TWINLOOT Abuses SharePoint and Teams to Steal Credentials and Move Across Networks

Ontinue disclosed TWINLOOT, a Python implant hiding C2 in SharePoint dead drops and Teams TURN relays, harvesting credentials and pivoting via reverse SOCKS5.

Ontinue's Cyber Defense Center identified TWINLOOT during a July 2026 campaign investigation: a modular, PyArmor-hardened Python implant (a 39 MB bootstrap-fat.pyc loader) whose entire C2 infrastructure lives inside trusted Microsoft services. Tasking flows through SharePoint Online file dead drops polled every 15 seconds via the Microsoft Graph API, while interactive operator access uses WebRTC DataChannels relayed by Microsoft Teams TURN servers; Graph traffic is driven by the victim's own headless Edge browser. The implant harvests Windows credentials with fake lock screens, offers a reverse SOCKS5 pivot for lateral movement to SMB, RDP, WinRM, and MSSQL, executes commands, and persists on hosts. Initial access is assessed to be Teams social engineering masquerading as IT support, prompting a PowerShell command to download the payload.
