Flextype CMS v1.0.0-alpha.3 stores unsanitized expressions in entries, letting privileged authenticated users achieve arbitrary file read when fields are parsed.

Flextype CMS v1.0.0-alpha.3 contains a stored arbitrary expression injection flaw in the Entries ExpressionsDirective. An authenticated user with privileges to create or modify entries can persist arbitrary expression syntax in an entry field. When the field is later retrieved or processed, the stored value is passed to parsers()->expressions()->parse(), leading to arbitrary file read on the server.

Incomplete fix for Emacs CVE-2024-53920 allows arbitrary code execution when viewing or editing untrusted files in non-Lisp modes like Perl flymake.

Bas Alberts of GitHub Security Lab discovered that the patch for CVE-2024-53920, an arbitrary code execution flaw in Emacs, was incomplete. Code execution remains possible when viewing or editing untrusted text files in modes other than Emacs Lisp mode, for example Perl files with flymake mode enabled. All Emacs versions affected by the original CVE remain affected by the incomplete fix.

Affected versions include html5lib v2.45, v2.103 and earlier, and other v2.x releases; the currently supported Player V7 is unaffected. No evidence of exploitation was cited.

Wordfence blocked 440,000+ exploit attempts against critical unauthenticated RCE flaws in WordPress plugins Super Forms and Elementor Pro.

Wordfence reports mass exploitation of two unauthenticated arbitrary file upload RCE flaws: CVE-2026-14894 in Super Forms (CVSS 9.8, fixed in 6.3.314) and CVE-2026-32475 in Elementor Pro (CVSS 9.0/9.8, fixed in 4.2.2), with over 250,000 and 190,000 blocked exploit attempts respectively. Attackers upload Base64-encoded PHP web shells such as Mushr00w_upl.php to execute code, create administrator accounts, exfiltrate data, or seize sites. Super Forms exploitation began July 14, 2026 and peaked above 40,000 requests on August 18; Elementor Pro attacks started August 19. Apache Storm Nimbus 3.0.0 before 3.1.0 allows arbitrary server-side file read via unvalidated uploadedJarLocation in submitTopology calls.

CVE-2026-82426 (rated important) affects Apache Storm Nimbus (org.apache.storm:storm-server) versions 3.0.0 before 3.1.0. Nimbus accepted the uploadedJarLocation argument of submitTopology/submitTopologyWithOpts as a server-side path and opened it directly, without verifying the caller had actually uploaded that file via beginFileUpload. This enables arbitrary file read on the Nimbus host; the issue is fixed in version 3.1.0.
