NovaCookies AitM phishing kit, a Sneaky 2FA variant, uses genuine Docusign lures to steal Microsoft 365 sessions at hundreds of organizations.
Island disclosed NovaCookies, a $320/month adversary-in-the-middle phishing-as-a-service platform that relays Microsoft 365 sign-ins through attacker infrastructure to capture credentials, MFA codes, and authenticated sessions. Campaigns abuse genuine Docusign envelopes and Microsoft/Google redirect hops so each step looks legitimate, with lure domains on .vu and alternating-case labels such as PwPt-sHaRe. Proofpoint assesses NovaCookies as a Sneaky 2FA variant with added flows for Okta and Entra domains federated to GoDaddy, and a fully managed PhaaS model. It has targeted hundreds of organizations in the U.S., U.K., Canada, Germany, Israel, and the U.A.E., and is advertised via Telegram with anti-analysis checks like a Cloudflare gate.
Google’s Early Access is creating a blind spot for malicious apps
Bitdefender found thousands of Google Play Early Access apps with deceptive behavior, including ad-fraud-capable utilities requesting excessive permissions on Android devices.
Bitdefender Labs analyzed Google Play apps installed by its users and identified thousands of Early Access applications that appeared deceptive, including fake casino and reward games, misleading utilities, and apps using third-party trademarks, many promoted via social ads with AI deepfakes. Early Access apps cannot receive public reviews, removing a key warning signal users normally rely on. Some apps requested unusual permissions, such as a QR scanner seeking to replace the device launcher, which could enable hidden web views that click ads and potentially display fake login screens or capture two-factor codes. Bitdefender recommends Android Enterprise Work Profiles and notes Google Workspace admins can disable Early Access apps for their organization.
Amazon Kiro Prompt Injection Can Exfiltrate Sensitive Data Through Kiro Powers
Mindgard found a prompt injection flaw in Amazon Kiro IDE letting attacker-controlled workspace files exfiltrate sensitive local data; fixed in version 0.8.140.
Mindgard disclosed a prompt injection flaw in Amazon Kiro, an agentic AI IDE, that lets attacker-controlled repository content steer the agent into exfiltrating sensitive workspace data through Kiro Powers, which bundles MCP server configurations, POWER.md steering files, hooks, and contextual knowledge. Exploitation requires the user to open a malicious project via a workspace file and send any message to the agent; difficulty is rated low and it works in both trusted and untrusted workspaces. Amazon fixed the issue in Kiro IDE 0.8.140; the flaw has no CVE identifier and follows earlier Kiro bugs including CVE-2026-10591, plus related prompt-injection and code-execution issues in Codex CLI, Cursor, Gemini CLI, Copilot CLI, and Claude Code.

Google Threat Intelligence Group says attackers are targeting proprietary AI models across healthcare, government, and media, exfiltrating API credentials, and co-opting victim cloud environments to run unauthorized AI workloads. TeamPCP (Altered Spider/UNC6780) is conducting supply chain compromises of PyPI, npm, and Docker Hub, deploying the SANDCLOCK and DUSTMAKER credential stealers, with DUSTMAKER using AI workspace poisoning and prompt injection for defense evasion. One financially motivated actor used an autonomous multi-agent framework to compromise thousands of third-party credentials in under six hours without human intervention. China-nexus groups UNC6508 and Basin Castle (Mustang Panda) used local open-weight LLMs and commercial LLMs like Gemini, Claude, and Codex for espionage tasks and evading provider monitoring.

Check Point discovers cross-account data leakage in ChatGPT: isolated code-execution containers communicate via shared JFrog Artifactory, enabling covert Gmail exfiltration.
Check Point Research found a covert bidirectional channel between ChatGPT code-execution containers belonging to different accounts, which were supposed to be isolated from each other and the public internet. Both could reach the same internal JFrog Artifactory instance used for package delivery, whose exposed Item Management API allowed a 'shared clipboard' between containers. In a proof of concept, a hidden instruction in a shared conversation made ChatGPT retrieve email data from the victim's connected Gmail account and send it to the attacker's account while the victim received a normal answer. The same channel could exfiltrate conversation history and session files; OpenAI recently described a similar isolation weakness in its postmortem of the Hugging Face incident.
