Top 10 Best Enterprise Browsers in 2026

2026 enterprise browser guide ranks Island first and notes Mammoth Cyber's wind-down plus corrections to standard vendor shortlists.

An editorial guide assesses ten enterprise browser options, ranking category creator Island first for last-mile DLP and BYOD controls, followed by Palo Alto's Talon browser as a Prisma Access/SASE surface and Google Chrome Enterprise Premium for DLP on already-deployed browsers. It corrects common lists, noting SlashNext is browser-adjacent phishing and BEC defense rather than a managed browser, and that Mammoth Cyber has wound down independent operations. Microsoft Edge for Business is positioned as effectively free policy depth for Microsoft 365 estates, with Menlo Security offering an isolation-plus-browser blend.

What 90 days and a small budget can buy in AI agent security

Versa Field CISO details hidden costs of self-hosting open-weight models and a 90-day AI agent security plan of inventory, blast-radius reduction and testing.

In a Help Net Security interview, Prasad Tharippala, Field CISO at Versa, argues running open-weight models in-house improves control but shifts hardening, patching, access control, monitoring and incident response onto the buyer, with underestimated costs in GPU infrastructure, licensing review, EU AI Act compliance and scarce AI/ML security skills. On red-teaming AI agents, he recommends testing prompt injection, indirect injection, excessive permissions, data leakage, memory and RAG poisoning, malicious tool outputs, cross-agent trust abuse and infrastructure attack paths, mapped to OWASP agentic guidance and MITRE ATLAS. He highlights the handoff between chained agents as a major risk zone and stresses exercising human approval, shutdown and rollback controls under test conditions. For teams with 90 days and small budgets, he ranks inventory, blast radius reduction and ongoing testing as the priority order.

AI will not fix a governance problem in your camera estate

Hikvision EMEA security director argues camera estates need governance, recovery controls, and secure-by-default settings rather than AI fixes.

Rob Janssens, EMEA Cyber Security Director at Hikvision Europe, discusses securing surveillance camera estates whose lifecycles outlive their installers, leaving lost documentation and admin credentials. He advocates secure-by-default settings such as mandatory password activation, login-failure monitoring, IP filtering, and controlled SSH access, and argues customers should be able to recover control without the original integrator. He distinguishes secure-by-design from secure-by-default, recommends VPNs and network segmentation over disabling controls, and weighs European requirements like source code escrow and country-of-origin rules.

Hackers Impersonate IT Support on Microsoft Teams to Take Control of Employee PCs

Microsoft warns of a human-operated campaign where attackers pose as IT support in Teams to gain remote PC control and reach domain controllers.

Microsoft Threat Intelligence observed attackers abusing Microsoft Teams external collaboration to impersonate IT/helpdesk staff, persuading employees to grant screen control via Quick Assist or RMM tools. Operators deploy malicious MSI packages via silent msiexec, run encrypted JavaScript implants through portable Node.js, and persist via EdgeUpdate Run keys or Startup folder entries. The Node.js backdoor uses HTTPS long-polling C2, captures screenshots, enumerates Active Directory, and moves laterally over WinRM (TCP 5985) to domain controllers and certificate authorities. Initial access maps to MITRE ATT&CK T1566.003 (Spearphishing via Service); no Teams vulnerability is exploited.
