A New Jersey court ordered people-search broker Radaris to transfer radaris.com and a dozen related domains to Atlas Data Privacy over Daniel's Law violations.
On August 26, a New Jersey judge found Radaris failed to defend claims that it violated Daniel's Law, which protects law enforcement officials' personal data and imposes $1,000 fines per ignored removal request. The court ordered radaris.com and more than a dozen related broker domains transferred to plaintiff Atlas Data Privacy Corp. Radaris had delayed litigation using offshore shell entities and previously used a fictitious CEO named 'Gary Norden' in investor-facing press releases.

Palo Alto Networks Unit 42 identified over 10,000 OfferLoader samples and 11 YouTube channels pushing trojanized installers via gaming lures and SEO-poisoned searches for tools like WinDirStat and Bluetooth drivers. Trojanized Inno Setup installers spawn three payload branches: Insomnia RAT (dual Node.js/Python backdoor that disables Microsoft Defender), ARKTunnel (undocumented RAT hiding its payload in a bitmap image and tunneling TCP/UDP), and Docro Hijacker (alters Chrome protected preferences to hijack search and affiliate links). The pay-per-install model sells each infection to multiple buyers, reaching gamers as well as corporate and government endpoints.

A Three-Layer Caching Architecture for Low-Latency LLM Web Search on Commodity CPU Hardware

The paper describes a three-layer caching architecture for OreoLook (formerly lixSearch), an open-source LLM answer engine: a Redis session context window with Huffman-compressed disk overflow, a semantic query cache matching rephrasings via embedding cosine similarity, and a URL embedding cache deduplicating embedding computations. Deployed on a single 8-vCPU Intel Cascade Lake server with 30 Hypercorn workers across three containerized replicas, it achieved an 89.3% aggregate Redis keyspace hit rate, 0.1 ms read latency, and 1.38 MB memory overhead. An LRU eviction daemon migrates idle sessions to disk and rehydrates them for resumption hours or days later.
