d-Matrix Adopts NVIDIA NVLink Fusion for Rack-Scale XPU Deployment

d-Matrix will integrate its Raptor inference XPUs with NVIDIA NVLink Fusion, MGX racks and Spectrum-X networking for rack-scale AI factory deployment.

Inference chipmaker d-Matrix announced adoption of NVIDIA NVLink Fusion to connect its next-generation Raptor XPUs to NVIDIA's scale-up and scale-out networking, MGX rack architecture, and broader AI factory platform. NVIDIA claims 3x lower XPU-to-XPU latency than off-the-shelf Ethernet and 3 TB/s per-XPU all-to-all bandwidth via sixth-generation NVLink. d-Matrix plans to integrate Vera CPUs, ConnectX-9 SuperNICs, BlueField-4 DPUs and Spectrum-X Ethernet, with racks able to work alongside Vera Rubin NVL72 GPU systems. Other NVLink Fusion partners include AWS, Arm, Intel, Fujitsu, Marvell, MediaTek, Samsung and Cadence.

The Government is Monitoring Anti

Fusion center bulletins reveal US law enforcement monitoring anti-Flock social media accounts and warning police ahead of the DeFlock Week of Action against license plate readers.

Public records requests by 404 Media and journalist Dan Boguslaw exposed intelligence bulletins from fusion centers in Colorado, Wisconsin, and Florida tracking anti-Flock sentiment, camera vandalism videos, and the DeFlock National Week of Action against automated license plate readers scheduled for August 16-22. The bulletins highlight Instagram accounts like Nomark.Project posting daily camera takedowns, and a device found during a June 25 traffic stop that could locate Flock cameras. Police are advised to increase patrols around ALPR locations and warned about upcoming DeFlock events, including 11 Florida cities signed up. DeFlock creator Will Freeman said the project never called for vandalism and that over 100 surveillance contracts have been canceled through civic engagement.

Broadcom Patches Critical VMware Workstation and Fusion VM

Broadcom patched critical VMware Workstation and Fusion VM-escape flaws CVE-2026-59346 (CVSS 9.3) and CVE-2026-59347 (CVSS 8.1); update to 26H1u1.

Advisory VMSA-2026-0007 fixes CVE-2026-59346 (CVSS 9.3), an integer overflow in the VMXNET3 virtual network adapter, and CVE-2026-59347 (CVSS 8.1), a stack-based buffer overflow in HGFS. A malicious actor with local administrative privileges inside a VM could execute code on the host in both cases. The flaws affect Workstation and Fusion 25H2 and 26H1 and are fixed in version 26H1u1 with no workarounds available. The bugs were reported independently by researchers working with Trend Micro Zero Day Initiative and by Tencent Xuanwu Lab.
