15 Minutes Saved Per Alert: How a Lean German Manufacturer Protects 10,000 Endpoints with ANY.RUN

A five-person security team at a German manufacturer protecting 10,000 endpoints cut triage time by 15 minutes per alert after adopting ANY.RUN's cloud sandbox.

Philipp Z., Security Lead at a leading German manufacturer, described how a five-person team protects 10,000 endpoints and users using ANY.RUN's Interactive Sandbox in a private cloud. The firm previously relied on a single air-gapped forensic laptop running Flare VM, which caused 5-10 minute setup delays, single-user bottlenecks, and selective triage. The switch reportedly saved roughly 15 minutes per alert and reduced forced wiping and reimaging of user machines. ANY.RUN data cited in the piece puts manufacturing security workloads 22% above other major industries.

Autoencoder Is All You Need: Profiling and Detecting Malicious DNS Traffic

Palo Alto Unit 42 details an autoencoder-based method that profiles DNS traffic to detect C2 and malicious domains, blocking ~374,000 malicious DNS requests daily.

Unit 42 built an RNN-based autoencoder that compresses DNS traffic time series into fixed-dimensional 'DNS profiles' for each domain and device. Downstream classification, clustering, and anomaly detection modules flag suspicious domains, capturing 170 emerging suspicious domains in May 2024. Signatures block roughly 374,000 malicious DNS requests daily and run in the Advanced DNS Security service, with detections shared to Advanced URL Filtering. Case studies link DNS traffic patterns to C2 beaconing, dynamic DNS abuse, and DNS tunneling for data exfiltration.

OpenAI-linked accounts claim roughly 10,000 AI agents produced a Navier-Stokes singularity result in 88 hours, pending mathematical verification.

OpenAI-affiliated accounts claim a system of roughly 10,000 agents, trained over about a year with multi-agent reinforcement learning, produced a finite-time singularity result related to the Navier-Stokes Millennium Problem. The claimed 88-hour runtime and 130B-token cost circulate only via social posts, and no preprint, theorem statement, or proof artifact is available. Acceptance by the mathematics community is unresolved, so the claim's epistemic status remains unknown. The roundup also notes Cognition's $48B and Mistral's $24B fundraises, GPT Image 2.5, and Meta's Muse agent relaunch.

Google's new AI model predicts the future from sales data, weather, and discount schedules

Google Research released TimesFM-3, a 330M-parameter multivariate time series forecasting model that tops Gift-Eval, FEV-Bench, and Time benchmarks and is on Hugging Face.

Google Research released TimesFM-3, a 330-million-parameter Transformer-based time series forecasting model trained on more than one trillion real and synthetic data points. It works zero-shot and adds multivariate support, ingesting related series, historical-only covariates, and known future events such as discount schedules and weather forecasts, while filling all future time steps in a single one-shot pass. Google reports first place among pretrained forecasting models on Gift-Eval, FEV-Bench, and Time, ahead of Amazon's Chronos-2, the Toto-2.0 family, and its own TimesFM-2.5. Weights are available on GitHub and Hugging Face, with BigQuery integration planned in the coming weeks.

Cadence: Error-Bounded Lossy Compression of Demand Time Series with a Time-Series Foundation Model

Cadence pairs Google's 330M-parameter TimesFM-3 foundation model with adaptive arithmetic coding, gaining 13-28% on 2026 demand series over classical predictors.

Cadence is an error-bounded lossy compressor for numeric time series combining the 330M-parameter Google TimesFM-3 foundation model with an adaptive arithmetic coder, guaranteeing a per-sample error bound. On 49 EIA-930 balancing-authority demand series from 2026 it gains 13.3% over the best of six classical predictors and 28.3% on 50 MTA ridership series, winning all 297 series-tolerance pairs with a 21.4% median gain. The paper also reports negative results, including that foundation models add negligible value for lossless coding and that PyTorch predictions are not bit-identical across batch sizes.

First Galileo SAS Authenticated Time Solution

Researchers demonstrate the first timing solution computed from Galileo's new Signal Authentication Service, protecting receivers against GNSS spoofing.

Galileo's new Signal Authentication Service (SAS) on the E6-C signal directly authenticates ranging measurements, closing a gap left by OSNMA, which only protects navigation data. Researchers built a snapshot software receiver implementing a simplified SAS protocol and computed an authenticated receiver clock bias from recordings of both SAS-capable satellites, collected with a Septentrio SDR prototype. The results demonstrate feasible authenticated timing ahead of full SAS operational deployment.

Underwriting Superintelligence: Backing Agents you can Sue — Rune Kvist, AIUC

AIUC raised a $40 million Series A to build AIUC-1, an agent security standard backed by insurance, serving Cursor, Harvey, Lovable, and ElevenLabs.

AIUC, cofounded by former Anthropic product hire Rune Kvist, announced a $40 million Series A led by Ribbit Capital and First Harmonic. The startup builds AIUC-1, an emerging standard for agent security, safety, and reliability, stress-testing agents for jailbreaks, hallucinations, and data leaks. It pairs standards with insurance underwriting through Lloyd's of London and counts Cursor, Harvey, Lovable, and ElevenLabs among its customers. Kvist argues trust and liability, not capability, are becoming the binding constraint on AI adoption.

Triage & Response Bottlenecks Eating into MSSP Margins: How to Remove the Friction

ANY.RUN says manual triage bottlenecks erode MSSP margins and promotes its Threat Intelligence Lookup and sandbox to cut Tier 1 workload by up to 20%.

Vendor blog post from ANY.RUN describes recurring MSSP triage and response bottlenecks: manual alert validation, unnecessary Tier 2 escalations, manual handoffs, outdated threat data, and disconnected tools. It cites a healthcare MSSP case study where the Tier 1 closure rate rose from 20% to 70% and false escalations dropped 34% after adopting its tools. The piece claims ANY.RUN can reduce Tier 1 workload by up to 20%, letting MSSPs absorb more clients without proportional headcount growth.

Hardware Fingerprinting FTQC via Quantum Decoder Timing

Quantum decoder timing on IBM Heron processors forms a side channel enabling device fingerprinting with 89% accuracy and workload inference.

The work demonstrates that wall-clock syndrome-decoding times on fault-tolerant quantum computers constitute a novel hardware side channel. Using per-shot decoder timings from three IBM Heron processors collected over 68 days, a passive observer can reconstruct detector-firing distributions, estimate logical error rate, infer code distance, and fingerprint the specific device with up to 89% accuracy versus 33% for random guessing. Noisy simulation based on Google's 105-qubit Willow processor distinguishes nine surface-code patches at 81% accuracy, showing the channel persists across vendors and code families.

Inside NVIDIA’s cuDNN Graph API: Fusion, Autotuning, and Plan Reuse with cuDNN Frontend

MarkTechPost tutorial walks through NVIDIA's cuDNN Frontend graph API, covering kernel fusion, autotuning, plan reuse, and CUDA graph capture on Colab GPUs.

The tutorial explains how to express GPU computations as operation graphs via the cuDNN Frontend graph API, running the five-step build pipeline of validate, build operation graph, create execution plans, check support, and build plans. It progresses from a single fused convolution with bias and ReLU to autotuning across engine configs, FP8-style epilogues, attention, plan serialization, dynamic shapes, and CUDA graph capture. Each kernel is benchmarked against a PyTorch reference on a single Colab GPU to verify correctness and measure cost. The piece also covers practical setup issues like making libcudnn.so visible to the frontend's dynamic loader.
