Apple October 2026 updates patch 304 flaws, including prior exploit
Already exploited CoreGraphics flaw CVE-2026-86950 now gets iOS 18 fixes; no newly exploited bug is flagged.
Out-of-bounds read when Apple platforms process a 3D model
An out-of-bounds read in Apple operating systems can disclose process memory when a 3D model is processed. Triggering it depends on that processing step; Apple does not say whether a remote party can force it without user action. The issue is fixed in the listed iOS, iPadOS, macOS, tvOS, and visionOS releases. Affected version ranges are not stated.
What to do: Install iOS and iPadOS 26.7.2 or 27.2, macOS Golden Gate 27.2, Sequoia 15.8.2, Tahoe 26.7.2, tvOS 27.2, and visionOS 27.2.
