Use-after-free in Google Chrome (crafted HTML page)
A use-after-free flaw in Chrome's Paint component lets a remote attacker trigger potential arbitrary code execution inside the sandbox via a crafted HTML page. Exploitation requires luring a victim to a malicious page; no authentication is needed. The bug was fixed as part of a broader Chrome update addressing 52 security flaws, including four critical ones.
What to do: Update Chrome to 156.0.8078.73 or later; Chrome's auto-update mechanism should apply the fix on relaunch.
