The SQLite command-line shell's .recover command writes attacker-planted dot-commands from sqlite_schema.sql values verbatim. An attacker can craft a database whose schema is a valid CREATE statement followed by a .shell or .system line. OS commands run when a victim pipes that .recover output into sqlite3. No privileges are required, but the victim must perform that local piping step.
What to do: Apply SQLite's update for CVE-2026-119586 when it is available; no fixed version is stated.
