Everything new coming to Meta’s AI agent Muse
Meta unveils Muse agent upgrades at Connect: realtime avatars, glasses integration, Mac control, email, and retail partnerships.
At its Connect event, Meta announced major expansions to its Muse personal agent, including live video-chat avatars powered by a new Muse Realtime Avatar model and wake-word integration with Meta smart glasses. Muse computer use will let the agent operate any app on a user's Mac, and it will get its own email address. Meta locked in payments and commerce partnerships with Stripe, Shopify, PayPal, Best Buy, Gap, Sephora, Walmart, and Wayfair, plus connectors like GitHub and Notion; over 1,500 developers applied to build connectors in under a week. Muse is powered by the Muse Spark multimodal model and will be free for a large token allowance, with Meta taking a small fee from transactions.
