Meta is putting its muscle behind Muse as the AI app takes off
Meta’s Muse AI app passed 3.4 million downloads and leads U.S. app stores after Meta Connect.
Meta’s consumer AI app Muse, launched September 8 and available only in the U.S. and Canada, has grown past 3.4 million downloads by Sensor Tower’s estimate, with Apptopia at 4.3 million and Appfigures at about 2.3 million. It reached the top of the U.S. App Store on September 18 and Google Play on September 19, and daily active users rose 27% after Meta Connect. Announced features include avatar video chat, Mac computer-use support, a dedicated email address, more connectors, and smart-glasses plans. Early download growth outpaced ChatGPT’s launch, while Meta house ads accounted for only about 6% of impressions through September 19.
