Channel 5 Gave Hunter Biden a List of Its Subscribers’ Emails for Some Reason
YouTube channel Channel 5 shared its subscriber email list with Hunter Biden to promote his memecoin, which a privacy lawyer says likely breaches GDPR.
Channel 5, the YouTube channel hosted by Andrew Callaghan, confirmed it handed Hunter Biden a CSV of newsletter subscriber emails so he could promote his new memecoin. Data protection lawyer Neil Brown of Decoded Legal said the sharing likely conflicts with GDPR and that subscribers never consented to third-party direct marketing. The channel's own privacy policy had stated it does not disclose subscriber data to third parties for direct marketing purposes.
