Dutch police detained 24-year-old Amsterdam suspect Pepijn van der Stap on September 15, with FBI support; he is suspected of participating in a criminal organization tied to ShinyHunters, linked to breaches of Ticketmaster, Pornhub, and telecom Odido. A Rotterdam court ordered 90 days of pretrial detention, and police separately suspect he solicited two murders abroad. The arrest follows ShinyHunters' unverified claim of stealing 2-3 TB from FBIJobs.gov, including FBI personnel and applicant PII, with sample data referencing assignments on China, Russia, Iran, and Hezbollah. ShinyHunters denies any association with the suspect, who was previously convicted in 2023 for hacking, data theft, and extortion.
