Enveda raised a $311 million Series E at a $2 billion valuation to advance nature-derived drugs discovered with AI. Catalio Capital Management led the round, with Iconiq and others participating, doubling the valuation Enveda reported 12 months earlier. Founded in 2019 by Viswa Colluru, an early Recursion Pharmaceuticals employee, the startup looks for medicines in plants and microbes rather than synthesizing them from scratch. It is already testing candidates in patients for severe skin conditions and for maintaining weight loss after GLP-1 treatment, though no AI-discovered drug has FDA approval yet.
