ICE Has Been Dumping Protester Photos Into a Palantir Database
A court filing alleges ICE stored protester photos and personal data in a Palantir case-management database.
A partially unsealed federal filing in Maine alleges Homeland Security Investigations agents built dossiers on ICE observers and stored them in Palantir’s Investigative Case Management system. The records allegedly included photos, license plates, and LexisNexis Accurint reports, and were shared for CBP TECS lookouts and Mobile Query facial recognition. Plaintiffs say an agent warned one observer about a domestic-terrorism watchlist; DHS calls the case meritless and denies such a database. The proposed class action seeks to archive the records and bar Maine agents from threatening observers.
