Aembit Extends Access Controls to Personal AI Agents
Aembit adds no-cost controls so enterprises can govern personal AI agents' access to company systems.
Aembit announced immediate, no-extra-cost support for controlling personal AI agents that employees bring into the workplace, naming Meta Muse and OpenAI Dots. The company says those agents can reach email, cloud apps, code repositories, and internal tools through employee credentials stored outside security's control. Its approach assigns each agent a distinct identity blended with the employee's, evaluates policy at runtime, issues short-lived credentials, centralizes audit logs, and allows the agent to be revoked without locking the user out. The same model covers Microsoft Copilot Studio, Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, and custom LLM workflows, enforced through the Aembit MCP Identity Gateway or existing gateways.
