More Than Three Quarters of Small Business Owners Say AI Makes Them More Productive, But Most Need More Guidance
Meta-commissioned YouGov survey finds 84% of APAC small businesses use AI, but most want guidance.
Meta released a YouGov survey of 3,983 small-business owners across nine Asia-Pacific markets, collected from 6 August to 2 September 2026. Among respondents, 84% use AI, 76% report a positive productivity impact, and 71% report a positive impact on revenue or sales over 12 months. Eighty-six percent say businesses need more guidance, and 51% cite cost as the main training barrier. Meta used the findings to promote its Small Business Growth Academy, Advantage+, WhatsApp, and Meta Business Agent tools.
