Rabbit released OS3, an agentic operating system that runs in the company’s cloud and controls a user’s machines through a local agent installed with one command. One account can link up to five devices, including Windows, Mac, and Linux PCs, cloud VMs, dedicated AI computers, and the r1; the agent can operate desktop software, local files, web pages, or code. Rabbit says files stay on the device, but task content and prompts are processed on its servers and sent to the user-chosen model provider, which Rabbit says it does not retain. Sensitive actions require confirmation, though Rabbit did not define them, skills can be added by pasting a URL, and users supply their own API keys. OS3 is live at os3.rabbit.tech.
