Meta gives its Muse AI agent video avatars, email addresses, and Mac control
Meta expanded Muse with video avatars, email, and Mac control, and previewed new AI hardware.
At Meta Connect 2026, Meta expanded its Muse agent with real-time video chats using customizable avatars, dedicated email addresses, and the ability to control Mac apps. Muse is planned to run on Meta smart glasses in the coming months, turning conversations into actions such as shopping lists and meeting scheduling. Mark Zuckerberg also showed Muse Charm, a Tamagotchi-like 5G device with a 2-inch display and its own OS, expected by December. Meta priced camera-free Ray-Ban Meta Audio Glasses from 349 euros, third-generation Ray-Ban Meta glasses from 449 euros, and VR glasses at $1,299 for spring 2027, and said Private Processing for the glasses has no timeline.
