Lookout launched Social Engineering Protection as a module of its Mobile AI Security Platform. The feature inspects SMS, MMS, and RCS messages for phishing links and suspicious intent, and analyzes calls and voicemail for synthetic voice clones and scam patterns. It also uses phone-number and identity signals so organizations can block suspicious numbers. Lookout describes it as covering AI-powered manipulation alongside existing controls for AI data exposure and vulnerable mobile components.
