One woman's Tesla was remotely controlled by an abusive ex-partner
Sydney man Enrico Pucci was convicted of 30 domestic violence charges, including using the Tesla app's parental controls to remotely harass his ex-partner.
Enrico Pucci, 50, was sentenced at Parramatta Local Court to two years and three months with a 15-month non-parole period after pleading guilty to 30 charges, including using a carriage service to stalk or harass via the Tesla app. From November 1, 2025, he used a parental control profile to control the victim's vehicle's speed, temperature, locks and curfew hours, including enabling Valet Mode to cap speed at 40 km/h and repeatedly disconnecting the car from its charging port. Police documents detail four years of coercive and controlling abuse; Pucci is appealing his sentence.
