TechCrunch Disrupt 2026: Cal AI’s Zach Yadegari on how to create viral growth and capitalize on it
Disrupt will feature Cal AI’s founder on turning viral downloads into a MyFitnessPal acquisition.
TechCrunch is promoting a Disrupt 2026 fireside chat with Zach Yadegari, who co-founded the photo-based nutrition app Cal AI at 17. In under two years the app passed 15 million downloads and more than $30 million in annual revenue; MyFitnessPal acquired it in a deal that closed in December 2025, kept it standalone, retained its seven-person team, and left Yadegari in charge. The session is scheduled for October 13–15 at Moscone West in San Francisco, and much of the piece is ticket marketing.
