Top 10 Best Biometric Authentication Solutions in 2026 [Ranked & Scored]
A 2026 ranking puts iProov, BioCatch, and Entrust/Onfido atop biometric authentication for liveness and deepfake defense.
Cyber Security News published a research-based 2026 ranking of ten biometric authentication vendors, weighting liveness and injection-attack defense most heavily because of deepfake and virtual-camera fraud. iProov scored 9.2 and took first for genuine-presence and injection defense, followed by BioCatch at 8.9 for behavioral account-takeover detection and Entrust (Onfido) at 8.7 for KYC onboarding. The list also includes Aware, FaceTec, Daon, HID Global, Veridas, Microsoft (Nuance), and Fingerprint Cards. The outlet says scores come from documentation and deployment reports, not lab testing or paid placement.
