Ubuntu USN-8816-3 patches multiple Linux kernel vulnerabilities affecting Oracle cloud kernels across architectures, drivers and file systems.
Canonical issued USN-8816-3 correcting several Linux kernel security flaws that could allow an attacker to compromise the system. The update covers ARM64, S390 and x86 architectures, plus drivers including DRBD, InfiniBand, IOMMU, Microsoft Azure Network Adapter (MANA), NVME, Virtio VHOST and Xen hypervisor drivers. File system fixes span AFS, NFS client, NTFS3, OCFS2 and OrangeFS.
