USN-8911-1: Linux kernel (OEM) vulnerabilities
Ubuntu patched multiple Linux kernel OEM flaws that could let attackers compromise affected systems.
Ubuntu Security Notice USN-8911-1 fixes several vulnerabilities in Linux OEM kernels. Affected areas include hardware crypto and NVIDIA Tegra drivers, USB, GFS2, OCFS2, SMB, SoundWire, and networking components such as IPv4, IPv6, Netfilter, Open vSwitch, SCTP, and TIPC. Named issues include CVE-2026-43095, CVE-2026-52914, CVE-2026-52931, CVE-2026-52955, CVE-2026-52958, CVE-2026-52982, and CVE-2026-52986, among others. Ubuntu says an attacker could possibly use the flaws to compromise a system; the notice does not report exploitation in the wild.
