Chipmaker Patch Tuesday: Nvidia, AMD, Arm Issue Security Advisories
AMD, Arm, and Nvidia issued Patch Tuesday advisories fixing a Linux GPU driver DoS flaw, nine Mali GPU vulnerabilities, and two high-severity Triton defects.
AMD fixed CVE-2026-43603, a NULL pointer dereference in its Linux GPU kernel driver that can crash systems and cause denial-of-service, credited to SecMate researchers, with patches for EPYC, Ryzen, Radeon, and Instinct shipped in July and embedded variants due in October. Arm published an advisory covering nine Mali GPU vulnerabilities allowing use-after-free access, kernel information leaks, or DoS, releasing fixes for Valhall and 5th Gen GPU Architecture drivers, with Bifrost also affected. Nvidia updated Triton Inference Server for Linux to resolve two high-severity flaws, one causing DoS and one enabling information disclosure, data tampering, and DoS. Intel had issued no new advisories since the previous Patch Tuesday.
Cisco Secure Firewall Adaptive Security Appliance and Secure Firewall Threat Defense Software Remote Access SSL VPN Denial of Service Vulnerability
Cisco patched an unauthenticated remote DoS in ASA and FTD Remote Access SSL VPN that reloads devices via crafted HTTP requests.
Cisco disclosed a denial-of-service vulnerability in the Remote Access SSL VPN service of Secure Firewall ASA and FTD software. Insufficient error checking when processing HTTP requests allows an unauthenticated, remote attacker to send a crafted HTTP request that causes the affected device to reload. Cisco has released software updates addressing the flaw.

Cisco patched a DTLS flaw in ASA and FTD software for Secure Firewall 3100/4200 series letting unauthenticated attackers trigger device reloads.
Improper resource management when processing DTLS messages in Cisco ASA and Secure Firewall Threat Defense software for Secure Firewall 3100 and 4200 series devices allows an unauthenticated remote attacker to cause a denial of service. Exploitation via a crafted stream of DTLS traffic causes the device to reload. Cisco has released software updates.
USN-8749-1: CivetWeb vulnerabilities
Ubuntu USN-8749-1 patches CivetWeb URI and HTTP request parsing flaws enabling remote DoS or possible code execution.
Ubuntu Security Notice USN-8749-1 addresses two CivetWeb vulnerabilities. CVE-2025-55763 involves incorrect URI parsing that could allow a remote attacker to cause denial of service or execute arbitrary code, affecting Ubuntu 22.04 LTS and 24.04 LTS. CVE-2025-9648 involves incorrect HTTP request parsing enabling remote denial of service.
NextGen Healthcare Mirth Connect
CISA warns NextGen Healthcare Mirth Connect <=4.7.1 has SQL injection and XXE flaws enabling credential theft, file writes, and DoS.
CISA released advisory ICSMA-26-253-01 covering three vulnerabilities in NextGen Healthcare Mirth Connect versions 4.7.1 and earlier: SQL injection CVE-2026-82583 (CVSS 8.3), XXE CVE-2026-78224 (CVSS 8.2), and XXE CVE-2026-82578 (CVSS 7.5). Exploitation could expose stored credentials for connected systems, enable arbitrary file writes, and cause denial-of-service conditions. No public exploitation has been reported; the product is deployed worldwide in the Healthcare and Public Health sector.
Rockwell Automation 1756-ENBT Module
Rockwell's 1756-ENBT ControlLogix EtherNet/IP bridge (all versions) is vulnerable to DoS via crafted CIP packets, crashing the module until manual restart.
CISA republished Rockwell Automation's advisory for CVE-2025-10478, a CWE-754 flaw affecting all versions of the 1756-ENBT ControlLogix EtherNet/IP bridge, scored CVSS 7.5. A crafted CIP packet can crash the module, and the device requires a restart to recover. Affected critical infrastructure sectors include critical manufacturing, food and agriculture, transportation systems, and water. No public exploitation has been reported; CISA recommends minimizing network exposure.
Cisco Identity Services Engine RADIUS Denial of Service Vulnerability
Cisco patched a RADIUS flaw in Identity Services Engine letting unauthenticated remote attackers trigger denial of service on ISE nodes.
A vulnerability in the RADIUS feature of Cisco Identity Services Engine allows an unauthenticated remote attacker to cause a denial of service by sending crafted RADIUS requests directly to an affected device. The flaw stems from improper handling of certain RADIUS requests and can render ISE nodes unavailable. In single-node deployments, endpoints that have not yet authenticated would be unable to access the network until the node recovers. Cisco has released software updates addressing the issue.

Cisco fixed sftunnel flaws in Secure Firewall Management Center and Threat Defense allowing unauthenticated authentication bypass or denial of service.
Multiple vulnerabilities in Cisco Secure Firewall Management Center (FMC) and Secure Firewall Threat Defense (FTD) software could allow an unauthenticated attacker to bypass sftunnel authentication or mount a sftunnel denial-of-service attack. Cisco has released software updates addressing these vulnerabilities. No workarounds are available. The advisory is part of a grouped Cisco release.
ClamAV Vulnerabilities Affecting Cisco Products: August 2026
Cisco patched ClamAV vulnerabilities that allow remote attackers to cause denial-of-service conditions, rated High only for Windows-based platforms.
Cisco released an advisory covering multiple ClamAV vulnerabilities that could let a remote attacker interrupt scanning operations with a denial of service. Software updates are available for affected Cisco platforms, and no workarounds exist. The Security Impact Rating is High for Windows-based platforms because ClamAV runs there in a privileged security context.
