Recorded Future Announces Automated Signature Creation, Accelerating Vulnerability Prioritization
Recorded Future launched Automated Signature Creation in ASI, turning new CVEs into deployable detection signatures in as little as 31 minutes.
Recorded Future announced Automated Signature Creation within its Attack Surface Intelligence product, autonomously generating production-ready detection signatures for newly surfaced vulnerabilities in as little as 31 minutes. The platform correlates an organization's internet-facing assets, live threat activity (malware, ransomware, actor intent), and vulnerability intelligence to prioritize which CVEs warrant detection. The company reports a tenfold increase in in-platform signatures and maps the capability to the four prioritization criteria in CISA's June 2026 directive on risk-based vulnerability mitigation.
Seemplicity Response Options accelerates vulnerability mitigation
Seemplicity launched Response Options, giving vulnerability teams compensating controls and targeted changes instead of waiting on full remediation cycles.
Response Options presents multiple remediation paths per vulnerability finding, including compensating controls and targeted configuration changes alongside full patches. Each option carries a Readiness Indicator showing whether it can deploy immediately or needs review, while AI Analysts pre-select a recommended option with visible reasoning. The capability is available now to all Seeplicity customers and targets shrinking the time from disclosure to exploitation.
LastPass enhancements improve visibility, governance, and control
LastPass releases SaaS monitoring enhancements, Mobile Smart Scanner, and auto-enrolled dark web monitoring across its password management products.
LastPass announced enhancements to SaaS Monitoring and SaaS Protect in its Business Max offering, including Persistent Monitoring that keeps visibility active through the browser extension even when users are signed out, fully released as of July. It launched Mobile Smart Scanner to convert printed, handwritten, or screenshot passwords into vault credentials, and began phasing in automatic enrollment of all consumer accounts in dark web monitoring. The company also completed its transition to a Unified Admin Console, added company-wide onboarding links, and passed SOC 2 and ISO 27001/27701 audits with zero findings for the second consecutive year.
Wazuh and AI For Enhanced SOC Workflows
Wazuh details AI-powered SOC workflows via its AI Analyst, self-hosted Llama 3 via Ollama, and Claude 3.5 Haiku integrations.
Wazuh outlines how AI can augment SOC analysts handling high alert volumes. The Wazuh AI Analyst on Wazuh Cloud uses Amazon Bedrock and Anthropic Claude to generate scheduled security posture reports. Self-hosted options include Llama 3 with Ollama, FAISS, and LangChain for privacy-sensitive threat hunting, plus an OpenSearch Assistant integration with Claude 3.5 Haiku. This is a vendor-contributed piece describing product capabilities rather than an incident or vulnerability.
ANY.RUN & SentinelOne: One Workspace, Instant Context for Rapid Response
ANY.RUN integrates its interactive sandbox, IOC lookups, and STIX/TAXII threat feeds natively into SentinelOne for faster automated malware triage.
ANY.RUN and SentinelOne launched connectors that embed interactive sandbox analysis and threat intelligence into the SentinelOne console via Singularity Hyperautomation. Suspicious files and URLs from alerts are automatically submitted to the ANY.RUN sandbox, with behavioral verdicts and risk scores returned into alert notes. On-demand IOC lookups draw on sandbox history from 16,000 organizations and 700,000 analysts. A separate STIX/TAXII feed streams verified malicious IPs, domains, and URLs through the SentinelOne Marketplace TAXII Connect app.
UltraViolet Cyber Equinox measures detection coverage against MITRE frameworks
UltraViolet Cyber launches Equinox, an AI-automated platform mapping SIEM and EDR detection coverage against MITRE ATT&CK and ATLAS frameworks.
UltraViolet Cyber announced Equinox, a detection engineering platform from its TIDE team that maps existing detections and log sources against MITRE ATT&CK and MITRE ATLAS. It performs coverage analysis in under 30 minutes and recommends vendor or custom detections to fill gaps, with engineers reviewing and backtesting each recommendation. In one customer trial, mapped technique coverage rose from 59 of 222 techniques (26.6%) to 136 of 222 (61.3%) without increasing alert volume.
Zscaler Agentic SOC combines AI agents with zero trust telemetry
Zscaler launched Agentic SOC, an AI-agent-driven security operations platform combining zero trust telemetry with frontier models from Anthropic and OpenAI.
Zscaler announced Agentic SOC, a security operations platform built around specialized AI agents for triage, root-cause investigation, verdict assignment, and automated threat containment. The platform pairs Zscaler's zero trust telemetry, drawn from roughly 750 billion daily transactions and a large decoy mesh network, with frontier models from Anthropic and OpenAI plus proprietary threat intelligence. It features closed-loop inline remediation that can isolate compromised users, block command-and-control traffic, and cut off lateral movement, alongside a context graph that correlates third-party data. Continuous threat hunting combines AI automation with human experts from Zscaler and Red Canary, and customer Maire Tecnimont is cited as an early adopter.

Google’s open-source HEIR lets AI work with data it can’t see
Google open-sourced HEIR, a compiler toolchain that converts pre-trained AI models to operate on homomorphically encrypted data without exposing it.
Google's HEIR (Homomorphic Encryption Intermediate Representation) is an open-source compiler toolchain and development platform for fully homomorphic encryption, announced in 2023 and now supporting four peer-reviewed publications. It compiles Python programs handling sensitive data into implementations that process encrypted inputs, supporting multiple FHE schemes, libraries, front-end languages, and hardware accelerators such as GPUs, TPUs, FPGAs, and custom ASICs. Demonstrated applications include private recommendations, credit card fraud detection, network intrusion detection, and hotword recognition.
