CVE-2026-41870: Apache Nutch: Unauthenticated remote code execution (RCE) via JEXL injection in Nutch Server (Nutch REST API)

Apache fixed CVE-2026-41870, a critical unauthenticated RCE via JEXL injection in Nutch Server's REST API affecting versions 1.11-1.22.

CVE-2026-41870 describes a critical Missing Authorization and Code Injection vulnerability in Apache Nutch Server (the Nutch REST API), enabling unauthenticated remote code execution via JEXL injection. Affected versions are Apache Nutch 1.11 through 1.22. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 1.23, which removes the Nutch Server; users who cannot upgrade must apply mitigations.

2026-001: Critical vulnerabilities in Ivanti EPMM

Ivanti EPMM has two critical CVSS 9.8 flaws allowing unauthenticated remote code execution; limited exploitation has already been observed.

On 29 January 2026, Ivanti patched CVE-2026-1281 and CVE-2026-1340, two code injection vulnerabilities (both CVSS 9.8) in Endpoint Manager Mobile that allow unauthenticated remote code execution. CERT-EU reports one of the flaws was exploited in a limited number of cases. Affected versions include EPMM 12.5.1.0, 12.6.1.0 and 12.7.0.0 and prior; the permanent fix is planned for release 12.8.0.0 in Q1 2026.

SAP Commerce Cloud Flaw Could Let Unauthenticated Attackers Execute Arbitrary Code

SAP patched a CVSS 10.0 unauthenticated RCE flaw (CVE-2026-58231) in Commerce Cloud's Data Hub Adapter, plus three critical flaws in NetWeaver and Manufacturing.

SAP's August 2026 updates fix CVE-2026-58231, a CVSS 10.0 flaw in Commerce Cloud's Data Hub Adapter where insufficient authorization checks and input validation let unauthenticated attackers execute arbitrary code. Onapsis urged customers to patch and redeploy, with an IP Filter Set on the vulnerable endpoint offered as a temporary workaround. The update also fixed CVE-2026-44772 (CVSS 9.9) and CVE-2026-44758 (CVSS 9.1), code injection flaws in Manufacturing Integration and Intelligence involving SSRF and SSTI, and CVE-2026-34265 (CVSS 9.8), an out-of-bounds write in NetWeaver ABAP's DIAG protocol parsing that can leak information or crash systems.

Google Chrome 153 Update Fixes 42 Security Flaws, Including 3 Critical Ones

Google shipped Chrome 153 fixing 42 vulnerabilities, including three Critical use-after-free and out-of-bounds bugs, with no active exploitation reported.

Google's Chrome 153 Stable channel update (153.0.8010.47/.48 for Windows/macOS, 153.0.8010.47 for Linux) patches 42 vulnerabilities: three Critical, 27 High, ten Medium, and one Low. Bug bounty awards include $1,500 to Hafiizh for CVE-2026-91724 and $1,000 to Jihyeon Jeong of Seoul National University for CVE-2026-91728.

Three CVSS 10.0 ServiceNow Flaws Could Let Unauthenticated Attackers Execute Code and SQL

ServiceNow patched four AI Platform flaws, including three pre-authentication CVSS 10.0 issues enabling unauthenticated code execution, SQL injection, and privilege escalation.

ServiceNow released patches on August 27, 2026 for four AI Platform flaws: CVE-2026-18885 (code injection in the GraphQL Composite Data API), CVE-2026-18886 (improper access control enabling privilege escalation), and CVE-2026-74820 (SQL injection), all self-rated CVSS 10.0 and exploitable without authentication, plus CVE-2026-6876, an 8.7 sandbox escape. Updates were deployed to hosted instances, but self-hosted customers must patch affected Xanadu, Yokohama, Zurich, and Australia release lines themselves. ServiceNow says it is not aware of exploitation of the new flaws, and no public exploit code existed as of August 28, 2026; separately, Defused reported in-the-wild exploitation of the earlier CVE-2026-6875 (CVSS 9.5), later noting the captured payload matched Searchlight Cyber's PoC.

cPanel EmailTrack SQL Injection Flaw Lets Attackers Execute Code as Root

cPanel disclosed CVE-2026-67401, an authenticated SQL injection in EmailTrack that lets attackers write files and execute code as root.

cPanel disclosed CVE-2026-67401 on September 8, 2026: a SQL injection in the EmailTrack feature that allows authenticated account holders with mail-related permissions to create arbitrary files and execute code with root privileges. Fixes shipped in v11.110.0.143, v11.134.0.55, v11.136.0.39, v11.138.0.4, and WP2 channel v11.138.1.9, with all supported versions before those releases affected. Root-level execution poses severe risk to shared hosting providers and multi-tenant servers, as it removes isolation between cPanel accounts, websites, mailboxes, and backups. Researchers Ali Mustafa (rz1027) and abed1526 responsibly reported the flaw.
