To See a World in a Living Context: Unified Indoor-Outdoor Urban World Generation

Researchers introduce HoloWorld, a unified text-driven framework generating coherent indoor-outdoor 3D urban worlds, improving average AQS over SOTA by 7.68%.

HoloWorld is a text-driven 3D generation framework that unifies indoor and outdoor urban world generation using a continuously updated cross-scale world context. It autoregressively generates urban exteriors with consistent spatial organization, grounded in 3D building instances and footprints, then produces building-specific interiors with geometry-constrained layouts that inherit exterior appearance. The authors claim it is the first framework to unify indoor and outdoor generation within one coherent 3D urban world, reporting a 7.68% average AQS improvement over prior SOTA and the highest average RDR score.

A Unified and Constrained View of Regularization-Based Robust Reinforcement Learning

Paper unifies regularization-based robust RL methods via new performance-gap upper bounds and jointly learned Lagrange multipliers.

The authors derive new upper bounds on the gap between nominal and worst-case deep RL policies, each expressible as an existing regularization objective plus a KL-divergence penalty. Robust training is reformulated as constrained optimization, where prior methods correspond to a fixed Lagrange multiplier. The multiplier is instead updated jointly with the policy, auto-tuning the regularization weight. Adversarial evaluations across several continuous control tasks validate the theory.

A unified 3D pancreas segmentation framework applies domain-adversarial learning to 4,604 heterogeneous CT and MRI scans, aligning CT-MRI features via a latent domain discriminator on a shared nnU-Net encoder-decoder. Whole-pancreas segmentation reaches 87.31% Dice in-distribution and 84.20%-88.09% across external OOD datasets. The transferred encoder achieves 80.53% Dice on MRI and 83.05% on CT for downstream head-body-tail subregion segmentation using only limited MRI subregion annotations.

Dynin-Robotics: Omnimodal Unified Diffusion Vision-Language-Action Model

Dynin-Robotics unifies action, goal, and dynamics prediction in one omnimodal masked-diffusion VLA model, reaching 78.4% success on Franka Research 3 manipulation tasks.

Built on the Dynin-Omni masked-diffusion backbone, the model represents language, observations, goals, and actions as discrete tokens and is continually pretrained on roughly 1.33 million trajectories from 48 Open X-Embodiment datasets. The shared trajectory interface enables test-time scaling via goal prediction, action-candidate evaluation, and joint action/future-state refinement. It achieves competitive results on LIBERO and zero-shot LIBERO-Plus, 78.4% average success across four Franka Research 3 conditions, and up to 29.2x faster model-side action decoding from a block-parallel implementation.

UniMate: One Unified Model to Animate Diverse Skeletons

Researchers introduce UniMate, a topology-aware diffusion transformer generating text-driven motion for arbitrary 3D skeletons without per-skeleton retraining.

UniMate is a unified foundation model that synthesizes articulated motion for arbitrary skeletons from a rigged 3D asset and a text prompt, with no test-time optimization or per-skeleton fine-tuning. It uses a topology-aware diffusion transformer combining graph-aware attention bias, a spectral rotary position embedding generalizing RoPE via the graph Laplacian, and a rest-pose topological conditioner. Trained on UniML3D, a curated set of 13,006 motion sequences spanning bipedal to serpentine skeletons, it outperforms state-of-the-art baselines and supports zero-shot cross-topology transfer, in-betweening, and text-guided editing.

UniMate is a unified foundation model that animates arbitrary rigged 3D skeletons from an asset and text prompt with no test-time optimization or per-skeleton retraining. It uses a topology-aware diffusion transformer combining graph-aware attention bias from joint relations and geodesic distances, a spectral rotary position embedding generalizing RoPE to kinematic trees via the graph Laplacian, and a global topological conditioner. The accompanying UniML3D dataset spans 13,006 motion sequences across bipedal, quadrupedal, avian, marine, insectoid, serpentine, and articulated rigid-object skeletons; the model outperforms baselines and supports zero-shot cross-topology transfer, in-betweening, expansion, and text-guided editing.

Studying Image Tokenizers as Visual Languages in Unified Multimodal Models

A controlled pure-autoregressive testbed shows task-specific validation losses rank image tokenizers differently, with I2T loss the most consistent signal.

Researchers built a controlled pure-autoregressive testbed and tracked task-specific validation losses during multimodal continual pretraining across text, image, text-to-image (T2I), and image-to-text (I2T) prediction. They find losses should be analyzed per task because they exhibit distinct scaling behavior and rank tokenizers differently, and that the loss-performance relationship depends on the predicted token space. I2T loss, computed over a shared text vocabulary, correlates consistently with both generation and visual understanding performance after supervised finetuning. Case studies revisit the discriminator, semantic supervision, and vocabulary size as tokenizer design axes.

Studying Image Tokenizers as Visual Languages in Unified Multimodal Models

A controlled autoregressive testbed shows validation losses must be analyzed per task, and image tokenizer choice affects joint multimodal text modeling.

Researchers built a pure-autoregressive testbed to study image tokenizers as the 'visual language' of unified multimodal models, tracking task-specific validation losses during multimodal continual pretraining across text, image, text-to-image (T2I), and image-to-text (I2T) prediction. They found that losses exhibit distinct scaling behavior per task and rank tokenizers differently, and that I2T loss over a shared text vocabulary gives a more consistent loss–performance signal than T2I loss. Better reconstruction does not necessarily yield lower task-specific losses or stronger downstream performance, and tokenizer choice can affect text modeling under joint optimization. Case studies examine the discriminator, semantic supervision, and vocabulary size design axes.

EmbodiedSkills: A Unified Framework for Orchestrating, Training, and Deploying VLA Agents

Researchers introduce EmbodiedSkills, a framework treating VLA skill decisions as verified execution proposals, reaching 86.2% success on RoboTwin 2.0.

The EmbodiedSkills framework treats each vision-language-action skill decision as an execution proposal, checking prerequisites before execution and verifying outcomes afterward via a shared executable-skill interface. It connects high-level skill selection, bounded low-level VLA execution and post-action verification in a single agent loop, and logs structured trajectories for supervision and optional online adaptation. Instantiated with Qwen3-VL and OpenPI/pi0.5, task-adapted policies achieve 86.20% average success across 50 RoboTwin 2.0 tasks and 97.40% across the four LIBERO suites, with 12.5% on memory-dependent RMBench tasks.
