CVE-2026-41870: Apache Nutch: Unauthenticated remote code execution (RCE) via JEXL injection in Nutch Server (Nutch REST API)

Apache fixed CVE-2026-41870, a critical unauthenticated RCE via JEXL injection in Nutch Server's REST API affecting versions 1.11-1.22.

CVE-2026-41870 describes a critical Missing Authorization and Code Injection vulnerability in Apache Nutch Server (the Nutch REST API), enabling unauthenticated remote code execution via JEXL injection. Affected versions are Apache Nutch 1.11 through 1.22. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 1.23, which removes the Nutch Server; users who cannot upgrade must apply mitigations.

GitLab CVSS 10 File-Read Flaw Draws In-the-Wild Probes After Disclosure

GitLab patched CVE-2026-85706, a CVSS 10.0 unauthenticated path traversal enabling arbitrary file reads, already probed in the wild.

GitLab released patches for a maximum-severity path traversal flaw (CVE-2026-85706, CVSS 10.0) in the repository commits API, caused by improper path confinement and missing authentication enforcement, allowing unauthenticated arbitrary file reads. watchTowr observed active in-the-wild probes starting 06:00 UTC on September 11, 2026; exploitation requires at least one public project and enables theft of credentials, secrets, and configuration data. GitLab also patched CVE-2026-87719 (CVSS 9.9), an insecure deserialization bug in Enterprise Edition allowing authenticated Duo Chat users to access Advanced Search configurations and sensitive credentials via crafted GraphQL subscription arguments. Affected versions include 18.7 before 19.1.8, 19.2 before 19.2.6, and 19.3 before 19.3.2, and the flaw follows the recently exploited GraphQL code injection bug CVE-2026-19478.

U.S. CISA adds Microsoft Windows, N-able N-central, and Adobe flaws to its Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog

CISA added four actively exploited flaws to its KEV catalog: Magento StyleSmuggler RCE, two Windows privilege-escalation bugs, and N-able N-central RCE.

CISA added CVE-2026-75650 (Adobe Commerce/Magento, CVSS 10.0), CVE-2026-81963 and CVE-2026-85880 (Microsoft Windows local privilege escalation, CVSS 7.8 each), and CVE-2026-86218 (N-able N-central pre-auth RCE, CVSS 10.0) to its Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog. Sansec researchers report the StyleSmuggler Magento flaw, actively exploited since September 4, lets unauthenticated attackers run code on vulnerable online stores and deploy web shells and backdoors; Microsoft confirmed active exploitation of both Windows flaws, and N-able shipped an emergency hotfix. Federal civilian agencies must patch the Windows flaws by September 22, 2026, and the remaining entries by September 11, 2026 under BOD 22-01.

2026-001: Critical vulnerabilities in Ivanti EPMM

Ivanti EPMM has two critical CVSS 9.8 flaws allowing unauthenticated remote code execution; limited exploitation has already been observed.

On 29 January 2026, Ivanti patched CVE-2026-1281 and CVE-2026-1340, two code injection vulnerabilities (both CVSS 9.8) in Endpoint Manager Mobile that allow unauthenticated remote code execution. CERT-EU reports one of the flaws was exploited in a limited number of cases. Affected versions include EPMM 12.5.1.0, 12.6.1.0 and 12.7.0.0 and prior; the permanent fix is planned for release 12.8.0.0 in Q1 2026.

SAP Commerce Cloud Flaw Could Let Unauthenticated Attackers Execute Arbitrary Code

SAP patched a CVSS 10.0 unauthenticated RCE flaw (CVE-2026-58231) in Commerce Cloud's Data Hub Adapter, plus three critical flaws in NetWeaver and Manufacturing.

SAP's August 2026 updates fix CVE-2026-58231, a CVSS 10.0 flaw in Commerce Cloud's Data Hub Adapter where insufficient authorization checks and input validation let unauthenticated attackers execute arbitrary code. Onapsis urged customers to patch and redeploy, with an IP Filter Set on the vulnerable endpoint offered as a temporary workaround. The update also fixed CVE-2026-44772 (CVSS 9.9) and CVE-2026-44758 (CVSS 9.1), code injection flaws in Manufacturing Integration and Intelligence involving SSRF and SSTI, and CVE-2026-34265 (CVSS 9.8), an out-of-bounds write in NetWeaver ABAP's DIAG protocol parsing that can leak information or crash systems.
