doxx.net Raises $38 Million, Opens Agentic Networking Beta
Miami-based doxx.net raised a $38 million Series A and opened the public beta of Agentic Defined Networking for people and AI agents.
Miami-based doxx.net, founded in 2025 by Barrett Lyon, raised $38 million in a Series A led by Andreessen Horowitz, with Animo Ventures and Focal—also identified as Focal.vc—participating. The company opened the public beta of Agentic Defined Networking, a private network meant to give people and AI agents defined connectivity and built-in blocking of malicious destinations, malware, and phishing sites. ADN uses serverless peer-to-peer communication, its own DNS root, certificate authority, IP space, and 196 custom TLDs, and includes a network API with native MCP support. Native apps cover iOS, macOS, and Android, with Windows and Linux support, and accounts are created by proof-of-work without usernames or passwords. The company says filtering has blocked more than 38 million threats since a December 2025 closed beta. Help Net Security adds that a16z partner Joel De La Garza is joining the board; the reports otherwise agree on the round size, lead investor, and threat-block count, differing only in naming Focal versus Focal.vc.
