FBI and France seize sites selling stolen abuse images
FBI and French authorities seized NudeLeaks abuse-image sites; reports disagree on arrests, site names, and the scale of harm.
The FBI and French authorities seized domains tied to NudeLeaksTeens, which allegedly sold hacked and stolen intimate images, including child sexual abuse material. CyberScoop also named a second site, NLTVIDS, and said some of the material was AI-generated; Help Net Security described two domains used by NudeLeaksTeens and did not name NLTVIDS. The outlets disagree on arrests: CyberScoop reported only a 25-year-old alleged administrator, while Help Net Security reported that suspect and his 21-year-old brother were arrested in northern France. Both say images came from hacked Snapchat, TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook accounts. CyberScoop cited a 189GB collection priced at $64.90 and the TAKE IT DOWN Act; Help Net Security instead reported a 6,200-file collection, more than 17,000 women victims worldwide, about €700,000 in cryptocurrency seized, and a statement from the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Virginia that some collections included identifying information and that investigators found child sexual abuse imagery despite site warnings.
