At its DevDay conference in San Francisco, OpenAI announced features that recast ChatGPT as a shared workspace, office suite, and app discovery and launch platform. Shared ChatGPT workspaces ('Spaces' per The Decoder, 'Space' per TechCrunch) let coworkers collaborate with the chatbot and OpenAI's newly launched Dots agent personas, alongside Pages, a word processor 'built for human and agent collaboration,' and collaborative slides; The Decoder describes Slides as upcoming, while TechCrunch reports slides can already be generated by voice and edited by multiple workers and agents.
