Meta launches Muse AI on iPad a month after iPhone
Meta’s Muse AI agent reached iPad a month after its September 8 iPhone launch, with new business connectors and more than 6.6 million installs.
Meta released its Muse AI agent on iPad on Wednesday, October 7, 2026. The Verge describes native support that uses the larger screen and iPadOS multitasking, while TechCrunch calls it a dedicated iPad app launched one month after the September 8 iPhone debut. TechCrunch cites Sensor Tower’s estimate of more than 6.6 million installs on iOS and Android; The Verge instead says Meta had already shipped iPhone and Mac versions and does not report install counts. Both outlets list new connectors including Asana, Canva, Dropbox, Figma, QuickBooks, GitHub, and Notion, though The Verge also names Zoom, Klaviyo, and Granola, and TechCrunch describes links to email, calendars, bills, and retail partners for bookings, shopping, and purchases. The Verge says businesses can give Muse a goal for marketing, pitches, and product pages, and that Meta is developing a Muse Charm device and smart-glasses support. TechCrunch adds that Meta is pursuing an open standard so agents can identify themselves to businesses that block them as bots.
