Veeam patches critical Backup & Replication authorization bypass
Unauthenticated attackers can bypass CDP Coordinator checks; fixed builds are 13.1.2.57 and 13.0.3.63, with no exploitation reported.
Relative path traversal file write via Restore Operator
A relative path traversal flaw lets an authenticated user who holds the Restore Operator role and also controls the contents of a backed-up NAS share write attacker-controlled files to an arbitrary path on the backup server. Triggering it requires that privileged role and control of the share; no user interaction is required. Integrity of the backup server is the impact. Affected products and versions are not named.
What to do: No fixed version is listed for CVE-2026-108141. Limit who holds Restore Operator and who can change backed-up NAS share contents.
A vulnerability allowing an authenticated user with the Restore Operator role, who also controls the contents of a backed-up NAS share, to write attacker-controlled files to an arbitrary path on the backup server through relative path traversal.
Unauthenticated attackers can bypass CDP Coordinator checks; fixed builds are 13.1.2.57 and 13.0.3.63, with no exploitation reported.
CVE-2026-108142 hits 13.0 and 13.1 branches; fixes are 13.0.3.63 and 13.1.2.57, and 12.x is unaffected.
