| CVE-2026-86218 | Pre-Auth Static Code Injection RCE in N-able N-central (Exploited in the Wild) CVE-2026-86218 is a static code injection flaw (CWE-96) in N-able's N-central on-premises remote monitoring and management (RMM) platform, carrying a maximum CVSS 4.0 score of 10.0. An unauthenticated, remote attacker triggers it by sending crafted network input to the N-central server that is improperly neutralized and persisted into application-managed code, which the server then executes — no privileges (PR:N) or user interaction (UI:N) are required. Successful exploitation yields full server compromise with high impact on confidentiality, integrity, and availability, and because N-central acts as the management hub for downstream customer endpoints, compromise can expose the entire managed estate. Any organization running an affected N-central release (before 2026.3.1.14) — primarily MSPs and corporate IT departments using N-able RMM — is affected. The flaw is confirmed exploited in the wild: N-able patched it as a zero-day, CISA added it to the KEV catalog on 2026-09-08, and it is the fourth N-central hotfix in five weeks, though no public PoC is known and ransomware use is unknown. Do: Upgrade N-central to 2026.3.1.14 or later (or apply N-able's hotfix) immediately, as the flaw is in CISA's KEV catalog and BOD 26-04 timelines apply to federal stakeholders. Until patched, remove direct internet exposure of the N-central server (restrict to VPN/management networks via firewall allowlists) since no authentication is needed for exploitation. Because in-the-wild exploitation is confirmed, review internet-facing N-central servers for indicators of compromise such as unexpected processes, unusual child processes of the web service, and new or suspicious accounts. | 10.0 | <1% | KEV PoC ×2 |

| CVE-2026-18577 | Authentication Bypass and Account Takeover in N-able N-central (Incomplete Patch) CVE-2026-18577 is an authentication bypass (CWE-288) in N-able's N-central RMM platform caused by an incomplete patch for the earlier vulnerability CVE-2026-18556. Because the original fix can be bypassed via an alternate path or channel, a remote, unauthenticated attacker needs no privileges or user interaction, though the attack requires meeting exploit-specific conditions (high attack complexity, CVSS 4.0: 8.2 High). Successful exploitation lets the attacker bypass authentication and take over N-central accounts, gaining high-impact access to the management console with limited direct effects on downstream services. All N-central versions through 2026.3.1 are affected. Exploitation is confirmed in the wild: the flaw was added to CISA's KEV on 2026-08-03, EPSS estimates a 54.1% chance of exploitation within 30 days (99th percentile), and news reports say attackers kept exploiting it even as N-able shipped successive hotfixes; ransomware use is currently unknown. Do: Upgrade N-central to a fixed release or hotfix newer than 2026.3.1 following N-able's advisory — the vendor has issued multiple successive hotfixes for this and related N-central flaws, so verify you are on the latest build. Because the flaw is on CISA's KEV, federal and BOD 26-04-bound organizations must apply vendor mitigations promptly or discontinue use of the product if patching is unavailable. Limit internet exposure of N-central portals and review accounts for signs of takeover or unauthorized access. | 8.2 | 54% | KEV |

| CVE-2026-18556 | Authentication Bypass (Alternate Path/Channel) in N-able N-central N-able's N-central RMM platform contains an authentication bypass (CWE-288) in which an alternate path or channel allows requests to skip the normal authentication check. An unauthenticated attacker can trigger it by sending requests through that alternate path without valid credentials, gaining unauthorized access to the N-central management interface; because N-central is remote monitoring and management software run by managed service providers, such access can expose management functions across downstream customer environments. N-able N-central deployments are affected; the available data does not specify affected version ranges or fixed builds. The flaw was added to CISA's Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog on 2026-08-04, confirming exploitation in the wild, with a high EPSS of 40.2% (99th percentile), no CVSS score yet, no public PoC, and undetermined ransomware use; related reporting describes a recent string of N-central hotfixes, including fixes for unauthenticated remote code execution. Do: Apply N-able's hotfix for N-central immediately per the vendor's instructions, since the flaw is in CISA KEV and BOD 26-04 applies (for cloud-hosted N-central, apply mitigations per BOD 26-04 or discontinue use if mitigations are unavailable). Until patched, restrict internet exposure of the N-central server to trusted management networks and review authentication logs for unexpected access, following CISA's forensics triage guidance. Check the vendor advisory for the exact fixed build, as the available data does not list affected or fixed version numbers. | 8.2 | 40% | KEV |

| CVE-2021-27137 | Unauthenticated Stack-Based Buffer Overflow in DD-WRT UPnP (SSDP M-SEARCH) DD-WRT firmware before build 45724 contains a stack-based buffer overflow (CWE-121) caused by an unsafe strcpy in the UPnP handling code (ssdp_msearch in router/upnp/src/ssdp.c). An unauthenticated remote attacker can trigger it by sending a crafted SSDP M-SEARCH request to a UPnP-enabled interface, overflowing an internal fixed buffer. Successful exploitation can crash the router or allow code execution and full device compromise, consistent with the high confidentiality, integrity and availability impacts in the 8.1 CVSS score. Exposure is limited because UPnP is disabled by default and, by default, listens only on internal interfaces, so risk is concentrated on DD-WRT routers where UPnP has been enabled and on networks where an attacker has LAN access. The flaw was added to CISA's Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog on 2026-07-21, has public proofs of concept, and is reportedly being exploited in the wild by the C0XMO IoT botnet (a Gafgyt variant) to propagate and remove rival malware. Do: Upgrade affected DD-WRT routers to build 45724 or later. If upgrading is not immediately possible, disable UPnP, or verify that UPnP/SSDP is bound only to internal interfaces and that UDP port 1900 (SSDP) and M-SEARCH traffic are not reachable from the WAN. Per the CISA KEV required action, apply mitigations in line with BOD 26-04 guidance, and check any internet-exposed DD-WRT device for signs of compromise (e.g., unexpected botnet traffic) if UPnP was enabled. | 8.1 | 4% | KEV PoC ×4 |

| CVE-2026-48558 | Authentication Bypass via Forged OIDC Tokens in SimpleHelp CVE-2026-48558 is an authentication bypass (CWE-347, improper verification of cryptographic signature) in the SimpleHelp remote access/support platform's OpenID Connect (OIDC) login flow, where submitted identity tokens are accepted without verifying their signature. It is triggered when OIDC authentication is configured: a remote, unauthenticated attacker can submit a forged token containing arbitrary identity claims and obtain a fully authenticated technician session, and in some configurations this also bypasses multi-factor authentication. Related reporting describes a path from this bypass to remote code execution. Only SimpleHelp deployments using OIDC-based (e.g., SSO) authentication are affected; deployments relying on local SimpleHelp accounts are not described as affected. The flaw was added to CISA's Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog on 2026-06-29, confirming exploitation in the wild, with a 30% EPSS probability of exploitation within 30 days and no public proof-of-concept known. Do: Update SimpleHelp to the latest release per vendor instructions, prioritizing any internet-facing server (CISA KEV listing means federal agencies must act under BOD 26-04). Until patched, restrict access to the SimpleHelp web login to trusted management networks (VPN/firewall) or temporarily switch from OIDC to local-account authentication with MFA. Verify whether OIDC is enabled on each instance and review technician login logs for sessions created with unusual or unexpected identity claims. | 9.5 | 64% | KEV |

| CVE-2025-62593 | Actively Exploited Browser-Based RCE in Ray AI Compute Engine Ray, the open-source AI compute engine, is vulnerable to a critical remote code execution flaw (CVE-2025-62593, CWE-94/CWE-352) in versions prior to 2.52.0, caused by an insufficient guard against browser-based attacks: the software distinguishes browser traffic only by checking that the User-Agent header starts with 'Mozilla', but the fetch specification allows that header to be modified. An attacker can combine DNS rebinding with a crafted User-Agent so that a developer's Firefox or Safari browser silently sends malicious requests to locally running Ray services after the developer visits an attacker-controlled website or is served a malicious advertisement (malvertising). Successful exploitation yields full remote code execution on the machine running Ray, with high confidentiality, integrity and availability impact reflected in the CVSS 4.0 score of 9.4. Affected users are developers running Ray as a development tool on any version before 2.52.0, which is the fixed release. The flaw is being actively exploited in the wild: CISA added it to the Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog on 2026-08-17, a public proof of concept is available in the project's GitHub security advisory (GHSA-q279-jhrf-cc6v), and EPSS estimates a 16.9% probability of exploitation in the next 30 days. Do: Upgrade Ray to version 2.52.0 or later immediately, in line with CISA KEV and BOD 26-04 patching requirements. Until patched, avoid browsing untrusted websites (including ad-serving pages) while Ray development services are running, and restrict network access to locally running Ray services. Focus triage on machines where developers use Firefox or Safari alongside Ray, and hunt for signs of compromise since the flaw is actively exploited. | 9.4 | 17% | KEV PoC |
