NVIDIA, Microsoft Kick Off a New Beginning for Windows PCs With RTX Spark and AI Agents
NVIDIA and Microsoft unveiled RTX Spark Windows PCs and agent infrastructure, plus a Windows DGX Station.
At a San Francisco event, Jensen Huang and Satya Nadella described NVIDIA and Microsoft co-engineering Windows PCs for on-device AI agents. Microsoft made Execution Containers generally available so agents can run persistently under operating-system control, alongside Microsoft Security and Agent 365. RTX Spark systems combine a Blackwell GPU and Grace CPU, with up to 128GB unified memory and about one petaflop of FP4 performance; laptop preorders are open for October 16 availability and compact desktops follow in November. NVIDIA also previewed DGX Station for Windows on the GB300 Grace Blackwell Ultra, with 748GB of coherent memory and up to 20 petaFLOPS FP4 for local models up to trillion-parameter scale.
